4 out of 5 eggsGreat projector. Get the Go Universal app!

Pros: Portable, Apple compatible

Cons: This projector has limited projection capability unless you download Go Universal from the App Store.

The app really unlocks some great features that you would not be able to do normally. For instance, project single pictures (not just pictures in slide show mode), PDFs, presentations, web sites, and social media sites (FB, Twitter, LinkedIn)!

Other Thoughts: Paired with the Go Universal app, this projector is awesome!

3 out of 5 eggsClose, but not quite there

Pros: *Bright colors with a good picture
*Lots of connection options.
* Short throw so it will project a big picture in a small room

Cons: * Crashes a lot when playing from a USB hard drive. It doesn't crash in the middle of a movie but will crash when starting the movie. Its stable once you finally get it going.
* Does not support iPhone 4S or higher!
*Very low volume from headphone jack with ground loop noise. Luckily the HDMI connection is quiet.
* The elevation screw is offset, which makes it wobbly.

Other Thoughts: This is a pretty good projector, it just needs a few refinements. I'm hoping a firmware release will add iPhone 4s support but I'm probably stuck with the ground loop noise. You definitely need a dark room for a good picture but it really shines once you get everything set just right. I use it as a pass through device via a WD TV Live, and it works well in that configuration.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Product Bad Shipping

Pros: *Good Sized Product.
*Had all the connections and connectors in the box.
*Fills the room with good vibrant colors in standard mode.
*The on unit touch is nice and responsive to touch to change the input mode.
*Blue ray, pc input, sd card, flash drive, hdmi from blackberry all worked, have not tried component video.
*good portable device, can take the big-big screen viewing with you while going on vacation.

Cons: *Bad bad remote, very frustating had to use the on unit touch screen to change the input selection.
*Am utterly disappointed with Newegg and Shipping company (LaserShip: as on Tuesday here in NY it was raining. The box was not packaged properly and was wet on delivery. Luckily the product inside did not get damaged.
In ECO mode the picture displayed is not too bright even when there is no ambient light.
*When playing game from blackberry playbook via hdmi there were gitters in the moving objects.
*could have been more brighter so that it could be viewable in ambient light.
*weak speakers. Had connected to home theatre to watch movie output from blue ray player.

Other Thoughts: * Overall I will give the product 8/10 (taking 2 start for brightness and 1 for remote).
* as for Shipping I am still furious for lack of concern from the shipping company when they know that the product is an electronic device and it was raining outside when it rained. They could have just wrapped the thing in a plastic cover or a bag.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the money

Pros: Nice colors for gaming/movies when the lights are off, and acceptable light and color for surfing the web reading documents with the lights on - especially for a 200 lumen projector. Never need to replace a lamp. I have it projected onto a white king-sized sheet stretched taut (in afghanistan). Remote works well, even when aimed at the back of the projector.

Cons: The connection to the mini-HDMI seems to go out at times after the projector gets moved sometimes, needs a soft push to reestablish the connection. Never have a problem for hours of gaming and movie-watching after that. Not worth taking off an egg.

Other Thoughts: I've been using it for X360 gaming and with a computer for movies - HDMI cord to the HDMI Adapter it comes with (see above). At first it had a short focus warm-up where focusing it right after it came on resulted in focusing it 2-3 minutes afterwards for a crisp picture. Now I just leave it set to the latter, and I've had no issues with it, I don't really notice it anymore.

I would have preferred a shorter throw distance, but I can't find a good short throw LED projector at higher resolutions. Manufacturers, make a short-throw, 1080p LED projector, and I will buy 3!
