Pros: No dead pixels upon arrival, colors look great, brightness is spectacular. Hooked up my PS3 and the HD looks stunning. Totally worth it.

Pros: Alas, a large package arrives at my door with a handle on it indicating a monitor must lie within. The suspense begins to build. Would this really be the one? I reach my apartment door but I find the door locked. What do I do? I open it. Once opened, I go into my room where I find a chair in which to sit. On the same key chain which had the key to open my door with, a Swiss Army pocket knife is also attached which I used to open the box with the handle on it which I suspect to be my monitor. Alas, the box is opened and indeed my monitor lies before my very eyes. I plug the monitor into my graphics card and then it happens. You may say "it can't be" but right then and there I said "It is the one". Yes, I literally shot bullets at it and it some how stopped them in midair. How ASUS did it, I do not know but the beauty I found in this monitor was almost a burden. How I lived before discovering the one, I do not know.

Cons: As I shut down my computer for the first time I could have sworn I heard some sound come out of the speakers that sounded something like "I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid... you're afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin. I'm going to hang up this phone, and then I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you."

Pros: After working for a company where I had 3 monitors on my desk, going back to just my laptop was out of the question. This is the perfect entry-level monitor. I'm not going to pretend like I know the difference between bad/good monitors. All I know is that this one looks great (and my wallet didn't suffer terribly). After changing my settings to Sysadmin Chris's recommended settings (read his review), the screen looked exponentially better. Apple's calibration tool doesn't exactly work.

Cons: It's been mentioned a hundred times already, but the stand sucks. Also, text isn't as smooth as I imagined it would be, but if you're sitting that close the you're probably getting sunburned and have bigger problems to worry about.

Other Thoughts: No regrets. This is by no means a "high-end" monitor, but for the price/real-estate this is a no brainer.

Pros: + Huge screen real estate
+ True HD 1920x1080
+ HDMI ports (Great for console connections)
+Only 200 bucks with promo code

Cons: -No adjustment for the stand, not really a con just something worth noting.

-May have to work with some settings to get it just right for you (mainly contrast and brightness)

Other Thoughts: I had a 22" Samsung, but I wanted HDMI for my xbox360 as I had only a VGA connection to it. This monitor gives me 1080p on the xbox360 and true HD for my computer itself. Great purchase for the price!

Pros: Simply the best LCD for the money. You wont find anything better.

Other Thoughts: I wish it had DisplayPort, but I knew it didn't, almost no monitor does.

Pros: This moniter is absolutly stunning. The input mode to let you choose to see is amazing. Makes playing my xbox with the HDMI and doing stuff on my computer so easy.

Cons: None.

Pros: Nice size, image is sharp and plays extremely well on high FPS computer games. Love the HDMI/DVI/VGA choices. Nice monitor OSD display options for changing color schemes, contrast, gamma, etc. Looks nice on my desk. Has built in speakers which can use standard small audio jack plug or through HDMI cable. Doesn't get all that hot, just a little (good ventilation).

Cons: Very soon after I got this monitor a black seal within the monitor started sliding down in front of the lcd picture. This looks like a large line of dead black pixels about and in long and maybe and 1/8th inch wide. It goes right through all the red X's in open windows on my windows 7 OS. It is terrible and worse off I never found my receipt so I have been stuck with this garbage for about a year now. There are threads on the ASUS forums with people having a line in the top right corner just like me.

Also, although it has built in speakers you will hardly use them as they are cheap and quiet and overall lousy.

The monitor stand tilts but that's it. No height adjustment or pivoting whatsoever.

Case of the monitor overall seems very cheap. It is lightweight plastic that scratches extremely easily.

1 red dead pixel since day 1, but I couldnt replace it with just 1 dead pixel. I had to have more than 5 dead pixels before they replace it or something stupid like that.

Other Thoughts: ASUS is based in Taiwan... Think about how customer support and RMA service might be for United States customers before you get upset when your ASUS product has a problem. Like pulling teeth when trying to diagnose problems with ASUS employees.

This is the last ASUS monitor I will ever buy. It is Samsung from now on. My dad has had 5 or so samsungs over the years and not one dead pixel to this day and also no other problems...

Pros: Very high quality monitor. Upgraded from a 19" regular flat screen (also from newegg), and the extra screen real-estate is fantastic.
Size/price ratio is incredible for this good a monitor. No dead pixels. Very sharp image Good lighting, no edge bleeding or back-light/ghosting issues. The fact that it's a 2ms (same as my old one) means it is excellent for gaming.

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: Rather amusing side note: After plugging in this monitor, I loaded up a couple games and found that they tended to bog down a bit, something that never happened before. I couldn't figure out why until I realized the huge resolution they were running at: 1920x1080. It's a no-brainer of course, but you may have to make some in-game graphic level adjustments with this thing. My 260 GTX couldn't quite handle that high a resolution with all the graphics on high in Bad Company 2.

Took several minutes to adjust the color settings after plugging this in the first time. I ended up using the settings another reviewer had posted, and also lowering the brightness a little. I intend to pick up two more of these eventually, for a nice even three.

Pros: - Great price for a 1080p LCD monitor
- Good color
- HDMI, DVI, and a VGA port w/ audio out jack
- Comes with cables

Cons: - No remote
- Volume is weak; fine if you sitting close, weak if you are sitting ~4 feet back
- The buttons on the monitor feel cheap and need to be pressed hard
- Button layout is not optimal - I can't use them without the lights on

Other Thoughts: - I don't know why, but with my Sony PS3 (hooked up via HDMI), I need to power cycle the monitor after selecting to play a game; extremely inconvenient
- The box comes with a handle, so it was easy to carry it into my room
