4 out of 5 eggsGOOD

Pros: Light weight - very happy with the sound - wear for at least 5 hours a day. For the price this is a excellent buy. I would perfur the overhead band with inear buds but could not find . Would recommend

Cons: Slight irratant wearing for 5 hours on the ears BUT wearing anything that long , can't complain.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Headphones Ever

Pros: Lightweight, Affordable, Superb Sound Quality

Cons: Cheap wire will end up failing after heavy use (1yr~)

Recommend taping the areas around the volume control switch to keep them "strait" as frequent bending at the points of connection will eventually crack the wire inside.

If you can mod these speakers in another pair, I recommend saving them.

I have about 5 pairs who's wires ended up failing, but I always buy a new pair since repairing headphones isn't my specialty.

5 out of 5 eggsPleasantly surprised

Pros: For the price, very good sound...beyond what I expected! Light and comfortable to wear. 1/8 inch plug with 1/4 inch adapter included. External volume control just what I wanted.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought these to replace an older version from the same maker. Finally wore out the old pair and needed a new set of phones. Seem pretty sturdy.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected!

Pros: For the price, these are decent sounding headphones. Overall construction is good!

Cons: Wiring seems a tad flimsy

Other Thoughts: Kudos to the shipper. Didn't hear anything about status for 24 hours....then received a USPS tracking number. Arrived in TWO days. Shipped priority mail...really good considering the price.

4 out of 5 eggscheap sound, without sound cheap

Pros: not an audiophile by any means, sounds decent, reasonably comfortable for long duration wear. doesnt jam glasses frames into your temples. good all-arounders, tv movies music games, you name it

Cons: lasted about 9 months before one of the speaker wires came loose inside the jack

Other Thoughts: speakers sit slightly forward on the ears, so it mostly sits on the side of your head, rather than pressing your ears flat, but loses a little richness of sound for it, mostly in the bass frequencies

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Headphones

Pros: I've used these lightweight, comfortable headphones for the last fifteen years and I recommend them to everyone. They have remarkable sound quality. The bass is strong but evenly matched with the mid and upper frequencies. I've given away more than 20 of these as cheap gifts and everyone, including musicians, remarks about the sound quality. If you've been using the phones that came with your mp3 player, you'll be amazed at how much better your music will sound. The cord is a good length for a portable clip on your belt mp3 player and it has a volume controller on the cord. They are perfect for your computer or TV too. The phones fit all head sizes and shapes. You will forget you are wearing them because they are so lightweight.

Cons: Really, at this price, if you have any trouble with these phones, just buy another or 3 others. But if you are a homeless person on a budget the cons are: The volume control may give out on you after some use. The one I use with my desktop computer is still working and sounding perfectly after 8 years but I've had others that lost sound in one ear within a year of heavy use. The plastic on the adjustable band is a little flimsy. Replacing the foam ear pads is tricky for me.

Other Thoughts: Even at five times the price they are still a bargain in terms of their excellent sound quality and comfort. I've worn these for ten hours straight while working in the yard and I forget I've got them on because they are so lightweight and comfortable. Most importantly, they sound great.

5 out of 5 eggsOptimus Pro 35

Pros: Enormous 1.5" titanium diaphragms and neodymium magnets. Don't be fooled by higher priced items. These headphones have been around for over a decade under several different brands. Time tested to say the least. I'm a gamer and these hit the low notes VERY clearly. Night and day difference. After 8 years of faithful service, the left earpiece died.

Cons: One time I had a hair in it that made a rattling sound. Had to take the foam cushion off to pull it out.

Other Thoughts: If you're a gamer or an audiophile, don't pass these up for something more expensive. You can buy two for the price of something more expensive and less impressive. They also make an earcup version if that's your thing.

4 out of 5 eggsBANG for the buck

Pros: They Sound Great for Cheap. As I've seen noted elsewhere, they have powerful, tight bass, reminds me of the ancient Koss Pro4As that got me through college - but more clarity. Nothing else like it in this price range. Needed clear, bass-capable phones for my home recording rig, these will do it.

Cons: Seem a bit fragile, and I'm guessing the on-the-ear design is not going to be as comfortable as my Sony earbuds or no-name circumaural headphones. But for the sound, I'll put up with a lot.

5 out of 5 eggsMy Favorite Headphones

Pros: Good frequency response and sensitivity. Very comfortable and they look nice. I use them with my digital piano and the sound is extraordinary, especially for the price. Comes with Gold 1/4" adapter. Titanium.

Cons: They are not super high quality in terms of manufacturing. But for the very low price, that doesn't matter to me. A certain retail shop sells these exact same headphones for 3 times what you see on this site...

Other Thoughts: I've been buying this same headphone set for the last ten years. Of course the look has changed, but essentially it is the same headphone. I'm on my third set. The other two eventually wore out, which I think had to do with the volume control piece. You can't go wrong with these headphones. I like them so much that I have purchased a few as gifts for friends in the past.
