4 out of 5 eggsAmazing EARphones

Pros: The sound is definite and clear, stereo channels are seperated perfectly, listening to the human voice and any guitar work is dreamy. If you aren't listening to audio files with a higher quality then MP3s, now is the time, you won't miss a detail while wearing a pair of these beasts.
The "sealing" effect created by putting in these earphones creates is surreal, once you start playing music, all other sound is overwhelmed, very good for drowning out the whining kid or trash on the radio. The CX680i comes with an array of very useful accessories, including different a pair of small and large earplugs, an extra set of earfins and black caps if you don't like the fin design, two extra yellow foam squares that go inside the earphone tube, and a tool to assist you should you decide to replace the foam. The last accessory included is a clip that can be attached to any part of the cord, and that is detriment to keeping cord as close to your body as possible, if you aren't wearing your iDevice on your arm. All accessories are included inside a small nylon bag, which can also fit the earphones and the extension cord, which should fit nicely inside your pocket, provided you aren't wearing skinny jeans :k

Cons: The extension cord. I can tell you without a second to think that any problems with using the 680i is centered around the extension cord. First off, the cord attached to the earphones themselves is way too short unless you have your listening device attached to your arm. This fact means that 90% of any consumer using these earphones WILL be using the extension cords, which can cause troubles. First off, the entire slack of the extension cord is placed after the right angle plug it uses, with the volume control at the end that has a yellow plastic clip that runs on the underside of it, that you theoretically could clip onto the outside of your pocket or jeans, but can't in reality. The extra slack of the cord has to be held together by a twist-tie, and hangs between the beginning of the cord and the volume control, but could be easily tucked away inside a pocket.
When running, the volume control tends to swing around, which could be fixed if the earphones' cord was a foot longer, or if you clip the volume control onto your shirt, although that results in a bit of an awkward look.

Other Thoughts: If Sennheiser redesigned the cord and the extension cord, this product would be worthy of 5 eggs. Unfortunately, a small amount of hassle steals it's pride D: However, if you are the kind of guy who prefers to listen to .wavs and .flacs over MP3s, and who needs some earphones that won't fall out during excercise, the CX680i is for you. There isn't another combination of audio quality, build quality, and use on-the-go that can be found at this price point.

P.S. A final note worth mentioning, whether this is a defect of either my product or the CX680i line I am not sure, but when adjusting the volume via the control wheel, the left channel seems louder at some volumes then others. This issue can easily be fixed by turning down or up the volume, and isn't much of a problem, just something noteworthy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat headphones

Pros: Great fitting headphones. As a matter of fact, these are the best fitting headphones I have ever owned. I just went for my daily workout and there was not a need for adjusting them and they sound great. Not to mention they block a lot of ambient noise so you dont have to turn your mp3 player up as much.

There were some reviews that said the headphones had too much treble and not enough bass. I found it to be perfect if I kept my EQ flat. I also listen to mostly rock and some rap.

Cons: They really need to offer these headphones with a black cord.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth the cost

Pros: They do what everyone's saying they wont fall out and for me that's huge there's nothing worse then having to re adjust ear buds every min. Sound quality is very good for ear buds by far they stomp my skull candies and the ear fin are genius

Cons: the rubber cord tends to catch on things easy and the length is very long but with the clip it takes care of that.

Other Thoughts: whenever these go out on me i will purchase another if available just cant go wrong when they don't fall out.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Overall

Pros: No problem with them falling out during any type of exercise. Sound quality is solid with no problems at any level. They allow enough sound in that you can still be aware of whats going on around you. The little "diaphragm guards" are nice and actually do a good job of protecting the ear phones. The bright colored cable is extremely nice as I have a tendency to lose things.

Cons: There is a bit of cord rattle that can be distracting if you listen to your music at low levels or if you're listening to a talk show. There is not much bass, even with my iPod's bass booster on. The cable, without the extender on, is pretty short, so if you don't attach your music device to your arm, you could be out of luck.

Other Thoughts: When I was looking at buying these it was these or the Bose ear buds. I had already gone through two pairs of the Bose ones, but one side kept dying. I thought it was due to sweat getting into them and as the Sennheiser's were water proof I went with them. If the Sennheiser had more bass I would give them a 5 egg-amazing review.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic for Sports

Pros: The names lives up to the expectations. So far these are the only headphones I have found that will survive me sweating all over them and so on and so forth. They sounds great, last, and don't slip from the ear very often if set up with the right size fin/bud. They come with everything you will need for these little guys including what you need to clean it and a nice little pouch for everything you have.

Cons: None worth mentioning.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend to those tired of wasting $20-$30 on decent headphones to work out in, and finding out in a few weeks they die.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Great sounding. Works fine in my iPod touch 4 gen.
3 sets of earbuds 4 sets of fins one without the fins.
good length. tough cable. base a treble are balanced pretty well so it doesnt sound like a tiny pc speaker, or a tuner car with 1200 watts running through three 18" 's which often sounds iffy cause their car often sounds like it's gonna fall apart. which is stupid. (when your plates move faster than your car)...it really shows you spent your money wrong.

Cons: no built in mic. Other reviews stated the mic doesn't work.
Duh there is not one. it is made for ipods and iphones.
which have a mic.

Other Thoughts: I got these cause i work in a tough environment. (Sawmill)
these work as good as our earplugs so i don't even have to turn my iPod up that much.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Was $39.99 when I bought them from newegg. My old set of skullcandy headphones had broke. The sound quality is very good for what I paid. Very few earbuds like to stay in my ears but these did.

Cons: I personally dont think the wings help them stay in your ear that much, but you dont have to use them either. The volume control is supposed to work with ipods but it did not work with my first gen ipod touch. The microphone also does not work with an android, which makes no sense because all of the connectors are standard. I was able to answer a call by pressing the button but the person could not hear me.

Other Thoughts: When something says iphone compatible, I expect that it will work with the iphone. But if the extra features are limited to the iphone, that should be in the description.

If I had missed the deal when they were $40 and had to spend $100 like they are listed at now, I would not buy them.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Doesn't fall out of my ears during my runs and rigorous workouts

Sound is what to expect from Sennheiser, like their other products.

Earfin/earbud adjustments included.

Cons: Expensive, but after going through so many other brands, these are worth it.

Other Thoughts: Buy from a trusted source.

Don't buy it from e(bay) or places not reputable since the mixed reviews seem like they are cheap knockoffs with bad sound quality.

Most likely caused by cheap sound drivers in the fake ones.
