5 out of 5 eggsVery good headphones for the money!

Pros: Terific sound. Good bass. Comfortable, adjustable.

Cons: Earpads can wear (see thoughts below)

Other Thoughts: I've been using these for me, and for the rest of my office for years. When I give someone a pair in the office, quite often they go buy a pair for home as well.

These will play much louder than you should be listening to, and are very good for listening to music - especially from ipods and other devices that don't have equalizers, as they do emphasize high and low ranges, and deemphasize the mid range. If you need flat response across the board, Sennheiser's "studio" or "monitor" headphones are a better choice.

The only nit I can pick is that after a couple of years of use, the cover on one of my ear pads is getting a bit worn.

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing Headphones

Pros: They have a great sound stage. When I'm playing games, the feel is hyper-realistic, regardless of graphics settings, as I am truly immersed in whatever sound experience I set these badboys to recreate!

Cons: They are not portable whatsoever, and the actual speakers can easily be detached from the head band. Although you can re-attach them and it doesn't damage the device, I'd love to see ACTUAL portability for these headphones. Also, there's not a lot of padding on the headband, but it's adequate.

Other Thoughts: I love the fact that they come with an adapter, so they're universal. Also, the cord is insanely long.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent for the money!

Pros: For the price the headset has decent bass and doesn't overdue the high's. I like these the most of the sub $30 headphones I've tried.

Cons: A little uncomfortable for long listening. After about 2 hours it became uncomfortable the way part of my ear was pinched. If you have small ears or are use to a little tighter fit you may not have an issue.

Other Thoughts: Fit my budget and my wants perfectly. I am thrilled, I only gave 4 stars because for a little more at the $50 price point the sound quality and comfort goes up a lot.

5 out of 5 eggsGerman Engineering

Pros: These headphones were purchased in April 2011, and are still going strong. The cable length is both a pro and a con, as others can tell you. Good power, okay bass.

Cons: The ear cups can be a bit uncomfortable after more than an hour and a half of use, but that's expected with leatherette pads. The headband was initially a little tight, but loosened up after a few weeks. The cable is LONG as heck. I bunched mine together and ziptied it rather than use the junk cable organizer this thing came with.

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend these headphones. Sennheiser quality, German engineering. Accept no imitations.

3 out of 5 eggsHeart break

Pros: Very light, Easy to adjust. Plenty of cable.

Cons: Not as durable as they appear. The earmuffs pop out and seem sturdy enough to be squished a couple of times but the main issue is that after mostly using it at my computer and not traveling more than a couple of times, they broke! A small bend in the cable connecting to the earmuff has stopped the sound from coming to that ear. :-( The pro is also the con- There is plenty of cable but if you don't keep a good eye on the lil cable manager thing it will become an anaconda worth of cables.

Other Thoughts: Price = quality

5 out of 5 eggs7+ years of daily use and they still work

Pros: I have used these 5 days a week for 7+ years. Many of those years they came to work and back with me everyday. I wear them 8+ hours a day. They still fit tight, don't hurt my ears after extended use, and sound great. I expected a loose connection by now, but everything still works just fine.

Cons: The bass isn't nearly as big as it was when I first got it. The vertical adjustment of the headphones on the band has begun to get a bit loose, but it still holds enough to stay in place. Besides, it's been 8 years!

3 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Decent sound for the price. They are no by no means studio quality so don't expect that but they are good budget headphones.

Cons: The only complaint I have is that they hurt after wearing for a while. I think its because of a combination of being too snug and not enough ear space.

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend them for someone who puts more emphasis on comfort than sound quality.
