5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy

Pros: For the money great buy compaired to headphones 3 to 4 times as much. Fit very well, light and do not feel like they are clamped on. When used with an amp really nocks them up a level.

Cons: No replacable ear pads, seem a little flimsy.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The sound quality is great. The included extension cord, the extra bag, all of this is nice.

Cons: Was looking for something that held sound-in well for music at work, these didn't work for that.. I'm sure there are others out there, I just chose the wrong model.

4 out of 5 eggsQuality Sound

Pros: - Very comfortable. Had nothing to do today so I pulled an all day game fest. Been wearing them for 12 hours straight and still not discomfort.
- The sound is solid. I'd give it a 4.5/5 in quality. Very comparable to other headphones with 5/5 quality. If you're use to having average headphones you won't notice the difference between these and the tippy-top tier headphones. Crystal clear sound with good high's and low's.
- These headphones block out the noise around you pretty well. You can still hear what's going on around you a bit, but it is very muffled. If you put something on with sound like a song to even half volume, you might as well be on another planet. And it keeps the sound in very well. There is little to no leakage of sound unless you're blasting a very loud song at full volume.

Cons: - Cheap design and feeling
- Thin flimsy wire, may want to be careful that you don't step on it, doesn't seem to be the most durable of wires.
- Ear muffs are a tad smaller than others, but I could still get my ears in them no problem, no discomfort at all. Unless you have some elephant ears it shouldn't be a problem.

Other Thoughts: Personally, I bought mine at he-who-shall-not-be-named(Ama-zon) since they had a discount going on for them that put the price at $30 less on these. But even at $120, this is some very good bang for your buck. I'd recommend them for those on a budget of about $120 who want headphones with solid sound and don't want sound leakage and want to be able to block out the sounds around them. You just need to make sure that you're not very abusive with them since they are clearly not as sturdy and durable as other headphones, meaning try not to drop them on the floor a dozen times a day.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Overall the audio is good. The bass is adequate.

Cons: I agree with "jh". The headphones do give off a cheap feeling. They are slightly flimsy and I feel like they're going to snap every time I take them off.

The actual ear muffs are indeed a bit small, as I have to literally fold my ears to cover them completely.

Other Thoughts: I can't complain about the sound, but I can complain about the quality. I've been a LONG time customer of Sennheiser for two reasons. Consistent audio quality and consistent overall quality and aesthetics. While the headphones have the classic sleek, clean, black look of Sennheiser, I can't help but feel I overpaid for these. I will replace these soon.

3 out of 5 eggsPerfect sound, cheap build

Pros: Incredible sound, even before properly breaking them in.

Cons: It's unfortunate, but everything just feels cheap about these cans. Flimsy plastic, thin fragile wire. For this price I was hoping for something similar to the robustness of my HD280's.

Other Thoughts: The earpiece while technically *does* go around the ear, is so small I practically have to fold my ears around to get these on. Again, this was not the case with the 280, the PC350 and the 595.

If there was an option for half points, I'd give a 3.5, but most def not 4 ... so for now I am stuck with 3. Going by the sound quality alone, this review would have been a perfect 5.

5 out of 5 eggsFlawless?

Pros: Wow...Matched against HD238 and HD419 these headphones lap the competition. Shocking treble, crystal clear. Round bottomless bass at any volume. The leatherette cups work twice as well at keeping sound in and out (compared to fabric HD419). Effortless concert-like sound.

Cons: It might be that these headphones would be SLIGHTLY less than adequate for the very dedicated dubstep or dance crowd. Not certain.

Other Thoughts: Expensive? Not really. Ive seen Dr. Dre beats a lot recently and these are easily in the same league as those overpriced earmuffs.
