4 out of 5 eggsGreat Comfort - Decent Sound

Pros: The comfort level is A+. I was able to wear these for hours and hours without any problems. If I had the foam inserts on, the bass was outstanding and outside sounds were 90% blocked. The mids and highs were there, but not outstanding. I was happy with all three, though.

I wear these for hours and hours, both in a very noisy work environment and while jogging: both have zero problems.

Cons: Both casings (the part the holds the speakers and wiring together) have broken, but were repaired with super glue.

The memory foam ear-buds have completed disintegrated over time. The memory foam buds are what MADE these. They are what made the bass so rich and the comfort levels exceed, but now they are gone and I am looking for near buds.

They do generate noise through the chord, but it is negated when the volume is up past mid-range.

Other Thoughts: If they were cheaper, I would happily buy a new set just to get the foam-inserts replaced. I am currently trying to find a way just to replace those pieces. Even though the casings broke (from pulling them in and out of my ear over time), the super glue fixed them without a hitch. So, now I just want new foam inserts so I can wear them again.

3 out of 5 eggsGood sound - questionable construction.

Pros: -Good balanced sound for most devices
-Super-comfortable
-Braided rope-like fabric cord cuts down on a lot of the noise normally heard when plastic cords rub against something (you still hear noise, just not as much in my opinion)
-Comes with a little travel bag

Cons: One of the ear buds came apart at the plastic seam. I had to glue it back together. There's just no excuse for that. (-1 egg)

Also, the foam on one of the ear buds is starting to tear a little. I don't abuse these at all. I'm trying to find a replacement set of foam pads to purchase.(-1 egg)

Other Thoughts: These do not sound as good as my high-end circumaural headphones when driven by an amp. But, they sound great in mp3 players and such - especially if you like to hear the low end in your music.

I got these on sale for ~$22. I'd easily buy them again at that price. The pros definitely outweigh the cons.

1 out of 5 eggsBroke & no help

Pros: Decent sound, comfortable in the ear.

Cons: Flimsey fabric cord wrapping frays easily and ruins headphones, customer service non-existent.

Other Thoughts: This is an updated review after trying to contact TDK for support for the pair I purchased.

Bought these because they were on sale for a good price. After a few days use one ear stopped working and upon inspection found that the fabric wrapping the cord to one of the ears had freyed and ruined them. It seems like a good idea because it doesnt tangle as easily as rubber, but the insulation is pathetically inadquate that normal use causes them to wear out in less than a week.

Contacted TDK customer support and receieved absolutely NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER.

The sound was good and the memory foam ear cushions were nice, but the fact that these broke in less than a week is completely unaccepable. If this is any indication, I would never purchase a TDK product again.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad...

Pros: These have got to be the most comfortable ear buds I have ever owned. I love the foam design. So much better than the standard rubber ear buds that normally come in a set. Very comfortable and they block out background noise very well.

Cons: Sound Quality is OK. I was hoping for a little better sound quality but I guess I just got spoiled with my iLuv's and iBeats. I bought a set of iLuv's from newegg last year and the quality of those are far superior to this. This set has good bass, but the high's aren't great and overall has a pretty flat sound.

Other Thoughts: The comfort of this set makes it worth the price, as they are very comfortable and i sometimes forget i even have them on. If your an audiophile though and looking for Great sound quality I suggest looking elsewhere. I give this set a 6 of 10 on sound quality but a 10/10 on comfort!

1 out of 5 eggsBroke in less than a week...

Pros: Decent sound. Nice feeling in the ears.

Cons: One of the cords to the earbud frayed and no longer works. This happened in less than a week of ownership with basic usage. Would actually be decent headphones but now I have a $$$ set of useless earbuds.

5 out of 5 eggsVery niceee

Pros: The memory foam is an ingenious idea that transmits the bass well, cancel outside sound, and is actually quite comfortable!
the rope meshy wire shows that the headphones are of good quality, also seems to make the wire more durable too.

Cons: not sure because you can't complain for the price!!

Other Thoughts: seeing as how these headphones were 100 buks at one point, the price now seems to be worth it

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I bought these buds because I read they were a bit heavy on the bass. I tested these against my Mee Electronics M6-BK's and I feel that the bass has a bit more kick but only by the slightest. The sound in general is pretty good, the build is sturdy, the cord is durable, and the memory foam is comfortable. I bought these on sell for $20 dollars and they're well worth it. If you can get them on sale for cheap I say definitely pick them up.

I'm not an audiophile and my hearing isn't anywhere near great so please take everything I say with a grain of salt.

Cons: Only thing I can think of is that they're a little bulky. I wear a beanie and it knocks the ear buds loose whenever I adjust it. I doubt it'll be a problem for others.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice Headphone 5 EGGS!

Pros: These are far better than I imagined. wrapped cord, the nice snug ear design similar to a compression type foam earplug. Sounds very accurate, bass, cymbals have nice definition. I'm a headphone snob and they are up there in my top 3 ear buds ever.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsThe best noise suppression idea!

Pros: I surprised nobody else came with with the memory foam idea. It really blocks out external noise much better than the silicone or rubber ones.

You can barely hear keys, if you shake it in front of you.

Cons: of course, highly effective noise suppression could be considered a con to some (e.g. being run over without hearing it coming).

Now, I need someone to figure out how to cancel the noise coming from the cord when it rubs against something.
