Compatible with set-top DVD and Blu-Ray players, DVRs, satellite receivers, A/V receivers, laptops, Mac/PC, and MP3 players, as well as LCD, Plasma and standard televisions that feature RCA outputs (red and white) and/or 1/8in. and 1/4in. headphone sockets.

Enjoy stereo sound anywhere in the room with reception through walls and ceilings up to 328ft. The transmitter works at 926MHz - 928MHz RF frequency, and three selectable transmit-channels help avoid interference and/or use more than one transmitter in a room. The wall-mountable transmitter features a convenient automatic on/off circuit: when you activate your audio source, the transmitter powers on without switches or buttons - easy! Five minutes after you turn off your audio source, the transmitter shuts off to conserve power.

The lightweight, luxury-padded ear cushions and adjustable headband deliver maximum comfort for extended listening periods. The earpads are replaceable for long service life.

The transmitter is fitted with an "Easy Recharge" function: conveniently recharge the headphone batteries by storing them in the metal cradle.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked fine till they didn't

Pros: At the time I bought them (years ago), they were among the cheaper types. Comfortable on the ears. Screen out outside noise.

Cons: They broke too early for the price. I don't think I was particularly rough with 'em, but they sound like some internal wires must have come loose. When they work at all, the sound jerks in and out like if you move it the wrong way you messed up some connection that was weak to begin with.

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth it.

Pros: None.

Cons: Base unit randomly shuts off and headphones blast static. When it shuts off feedback can be heard in the TV in the form of static. Headphones must be tuned (frequently) to base unit frequency and picks up static from anything near it (wall, arms, hands, lamps, chair back, ...). Pads on headphones fall off frequently. Base unit charging feature is inconsistent. This item is not worth the price or aggravation.

Other Thoughts: This is the first Sennheiser brand item I have purchased that I think is outright junk. I would never recommend it.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible fit

Pros: These have a good range, the sound quality is fine but . Volume knob on headset is convenient.

Some reviews mentioned the angle of the earpieces in a negative light. The angle of the earpieces feels comfortable to me. Much more comfortable than some other headsets I've had which have straight-on earpieces.

Cons: The fit on these is horrible. They are incredibly loose. I think it's a combination of them being wide and top-heavy (though it could be the earpiece angle as some reviewers have suggested). While they are very comfortable, they will NOT stay on your head if you move around. As a person with a pretty large head, this is ridiculous. I wonder if someone with a small head could even wear these. If you tilt your head downwards at all, they WILL fall off (looking through a waist-height drawer, picking something up off the ground, getting something out of the fridge, etc). You can adjust them to stay on while looking down, but they'll just fall off once you pick your head up. There is NO position you can wear this headset where it will stay on as you move.

It seems that the expected use case is to only wear them while sitting at your terminal. Personally, I'm going to attach an elastic band around my headset across the back to keep them on.

The wall-mount is also a joke. There's ONE wall-mount keyway on the back. If you decide to wall-mount it, it will rotate freely.

The static which gets broadcast when no audio is being transmitted is harsh. There should be some kind of built-in squelch. As-is, pausing audio for a sustained period of time will cause the transmitter to go into some kind of standby mode. If you have no audio for a few minutes, you'll eventually have some loud static until you resume the audio. Even with the volume relatively low on the headset, you can hear it while not wearing the headset.

Other Thoughts: It's possible someone could eavesdrop on the audio with an appropriate receiver.

Pros: I rated this item before with only 2 stars because of static. The company called me and helped fix the problem on my end and the headphones work properly now.

3 out of 5 eggsGood but not the Sennheiser quality I'm used to

Pros: They do work.
Sound quality is good usually
Long range usage (so far they've worked fine upto 100 yards)
Nice that they charge just by placing them on the stand

Cons: I used Sennheiser headphones for about 20 years. My ears are easily irritated and so far Sennheiser and Razer are the only 2 brands that don't hurt my ears ... till now.
These headphones don't have the usual Sennheiser soft ear padding, instead they have some semi-hard sponge material, after 1 hour of use I have to take them off for a bit.
At times I get interference just by turning my head.
The most annoying thing is that if a movie is paused for a few seconds they will go into loud static noise so I have to turn them off whenever I pause a movie.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for cheap wireless headphones that work this will definitely do the job but if you are used to Sennheiser quality then I recommend the digital ones, they are about 3X the price than these ones but they are very comfortable and high quality.

3 out of 5 eggsAnalog, staticky

Pros: Does play audio wirelessly

Cons: While I didnt look inside it, the whole thing felt very analog, in a bad way, with static and a little wheel to adjust to reduce the static.

When the box that changed my TV out from digital to RCA broke I decided to drop these headphones and bought a new set that took the digital input, they were more expensive but I dont regret it.

Other Thoughts: Unless you are really strapped for cash I would buy a more expensive set, this is my only experience with sennheiser so I wont dog the brand

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful Sound

Pros: Bought these for my dad so he can walk around and go outside. The sound is wonderful and he really digs them. He can go over 200+ feet away and still have clear sound. The battery life is also really great.

Cons: The top band is a bit stiff and flat. It doesn't conform to your head at all. You get used to it, but its not that comfortable until you wear them in.

Other Thoughts: Overall, they're great headphones. Highly worth the money for people who listen to music with no wires. Highly suggested!

2 out of 5 eggsWatch for the price guarantee

Pros: Free 2 day shipping with shop runner.

Cons: no idea where it is coming from, but a constant "click.. click... click... click..... click........ click." in the headset. Tried 2 of the other frequencies, no go. I can be in my recliner, I'll be perfectly perfectly still... lift my left leg.. and the clicking noise stops. lol. seriously.......

The price has not changed on newegg's website.. although I sent in a price match guarantee (and they accepted it). It's available at best buy right now as of 4/3.. for around $18 less.

Other Thoughts: Not sure I would buy these again. The constant clicking makes me go nuts. Waste of money at this point..

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Isn't USB interface. Rechargeable. Pretty good range compared to Bluetooth.

Cons: Item feels cheap and easily broken. Static hiss whenever audio is paused. Clipping when a complex (strong highs and lows) sound is playing.

Other Thoughts: I thought this was a good brand and it wasn't USB, so I could use it with my sound card. Rather disappointed. I'll get a Logitech headset instead.
