2 out of 5 eggsNot at all what I expected...

Pros: Its lighter than I thought it would be.

Cons: I feel the features were over sold. I was really excited to get a new mouse, and from the research/reviews that I found, this mouse was going to be my next gaming mouse. I even pre-ordered it. When it arrived, I was underwhelmed. It was small, much smaller than my G500. The "adjustable" feature seems gimmicky, as I couldn't raise it enough to even fit my hand. Granite, I may just have large hands, but I'm pretty sure if they were freakishly large someone would've told me by now.

The fact that this mouse can be used with either hand, in my opinion, means it doesn't really fit either hand all that well. I am right handed, so I understand that mice are mostly made for right handed people. Maybe I don't know the struggle of finding a left handed mouse, but all I know is this mouse hurt my hand. I thought maybe it was just an adjustment that was needed on my part. I used the mouse for several days, but no improvement.

I ended up returning the mouse and went back to my G500.

Other Thoughts: For the price, do your research first. I'll stick a trusted name with my next mouse. I'm not sure what prompted EVGA to go into the mouse market, but, if it isn't broke, don't try and fix it. Just for a reference, my hand size is 7 inches from base of my palm to the end of my middle finger.

4 out of 5 eggsKind of bad at leftclicking

Pros: Decent build quality. Fits my long/narrow hand better than a G9x, although at its widest it's pretty much the same. Except for the scroll wheel there's no rubber on this thing to grow funky with use.
Driver software is relatively troublefree with profile management and offers a slight bit more control with macro recording compared to Logitech Setpoint.

Cons: For a mouse it's not actually that great at clicking. The LMB in particular is noticeably stiffer than you'd find in other mice, and the effect gets compounded when the height adjustment is jacked up -- the force will tend to get deflected forwards instead of downwards into the switch.
Driver software overall is a bit pretentious, almost half of it is redundant ways of showing your DPI selection. More glaringly there is no automatic application profile switching feature, which is very unfortunate. I'm faintly hoping that's something that can be added in later.

The little screwdriver used for the height adjustment jack is a ridiculously substantial solid metal affair, and while that is nice, I'd rather see all that metal be put to better use inside the mouse, like the scrollwheel axle, etc.

I also hate rubber. I wish the scrollwheel didn't have any rubber on it either. All rubber does is collect oil, waste your time cleaning, and/or then grow nasty with time.

Lastly, for others with narrow hands, remember that height adjustment isn't width adjustment, and by no means is this a narrow mouse.

Other Thoughts: Buy it if you like the style. It's usable, but the deciding factor comes down to whether or not you can live with an index finger workout.

4 out of 5 eggsEVGA TORQ X10 Carbon 901-X1-1102-KR Black 9 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 8200 dpi Gaming Mouse

Pros: Very ergonomic and feels good in the hand. Can be used left or right handed. Adjustable weights & tool included. Cool colors that change with a push of a button. Excellent response time.

Cons: The buttons that make it ambidextrous get in the way and I keep pushing them by mistake. I'm a right handed user and the buttons meant for left handed users keep getting in the way. I have them turned off, so nothing gets activated, but it's still annoying. Also, there is no software included, you have to download what you need from EVGA.

Other Thoughts: 5 eggs for cool factor, but 4 eggs for practicality.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Highly customize-able. You can select from multiple colors for the mouse wheel back light, and the EVGA back light (They don't have to both be the same color too).

DPI switching on the fly is awesome.

Cons: Switching profiles/DPI on the fly will cause my game that I am playing to go into window mode. I assume this is cause the software shows text on the screen that you switched DPI/Profile. Maybe there's a way to turn that off, I haven't checked.

3 out of 5 eggsNice attempt.

Pros: LED Lighting
Weight System
Strong scroll well
Braided cable
Sturdy body

Cons: LMB and RMB have no tacticle feed back, or if any, very little. Impossible to tell when clicking. Actuation point is too far in between clicking and release and the force required to press the LMB and RMB is ridiculous. My hand gets tired very quickly.

Other Thoughts: While it is a nice mouse, it is not worth the money in my honest opinion. If the LMB had less distance-to-press, I'd reconsider suggesting to friends, but as is, no go. Replaced my G9x, but I think I'll be going back to it.

3 out of 5 eggsGood for daily use

Pros: It look amazing, One of the best looking mouse I have ever own. I find it very confortable for daily use.

Cons: I can't play fps games with it. I'm pretty sure it have something to do with the ambidextrous feature because I can't grip it tight like a G502 or G500. It just feel wrong.

The scroll is to Far I can barely reach it.

Other Thoughts: I have mediums hands and I own 5 high end mouses.

I'm using it for web browsing and daily work.

4 out of 5 eggsUpdate

Pros: EVGA service is awesome. Upon RMA, they reimbursed shipping, and will be sending a new mouse to me. They did verify that the mouse I received was defective and their tech guy gave me a call to let me know. Great service.

Cons: First mouse I received was defective. But EVGA handled the RMA well.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome mouse

Pros: Great adjustability (physical and tracking wise)

Cons: Hard to open if changing weights

Other Thoughts: I like the looks of it as the carbon fiber matches my racing rig. If changing weights, it was hard to open in order to change weights, but I found that pushing the front of the lid backwards pops it out, therefore the easiest way to do it.

Pros: I'm 6'1" an have big hands. Once out of the box and in my hand, , I love this mouse so much. Accuracy is awesome, looks cool, but it just works, awesome!
I need to buy one for home as this one was for work...
Thank you EVGA for making this mouse, it is bad as!

Cons: Not even going to go there.

Other Thoughts: I have bought so many mice over the years, like all of the high end mice... dozens and dozens! This is so one of my favorite purchases. I'm getting more of these.
