3 out of 5 eggsLasted almost 2 years

Pros: High adjustable DPI
Works on shiny surfaces
Cool weights box.

Cons: Main button sends double-clicks instead of single.
The plastic feels pretty cheap.

Other Thoughts: Almost unusable now. I may try to get it replaced under warranty just for the fun of it. Would be awesome if it lasted longer.

3 out of 5 eggsRosewill RM5000L mouse

Pros: Cheap (I got it for 15 bucks)
Feature Filled
Decently ergonomic

Cons: One of the worst scroll wheels in history.

Other Thoughts: If it just had a regular, functioning scroll wheel, then this mouse would have been awesome.

3 out of 5 eggsWould Be Great Basic Mouse If Scrool Wheel Wasn't Made Cheap!

Pros: Bought this mouse on
8/9/2012 for $11.99 its now
12/10/2012.
All the Led's and the lazer on the mouse work.
Great performance.
almost a 100% perfect hand fit.

Cons: the bottom of the mouse, the lazer/eye w/e u call it does not glow red. just saying...

Scroll wheel broke in 4 months.

on each side scroll wheel, there are 2 pints.
the right pin is a decent size.
the left pin is like the small size of a needle. and its in a hexagon shape. so that it turns some other object so that the scrolling is registered.

Do not press hard on the mouse scroll button, or scroll fast or hard.
that left Pin is as weak as ( Tin Foil) no joke.
its like a kids toy weak plastic type deal.
just falls apart like candy.

I was playing a gun game, and was clicking too fast, and medium hardness, and clicked scroll button by mistake.. and poof there goes the button.

Other Thoughts: I was playing a gun game, and was clicking too fast, and medium hardness, and clicked scroll button by mistake.. and poof there goes the button.

This would make a great Demo / Temp mouse.

I hope they make a new version with a better scroll wheel.
because everything else about this mouse was Great

I got the mouse when it was on sale for
$11.99

3 out of 5 eggsUnfortunately, disappointed.

Pros: Smooth, flawless operation. Solid clicks, symmetrical design which I like. It came with those weights, and little metal tin. My scroll wheel has not yet broken like everyone else has described. I have my fingers crossed it will not. It is accurate at all DPI settings.

Cons: Yes this mouse has seven buttons, but two of them have a feature already tied to them and I do not think that I can change their functions. With that being said I haven't tried too hard yet.

Other Thoughts: I just wish I had read more so I realized that two of the seven buttons are not exactly usable for gaming. There is nothing broken, or unacceptable functional-wise, (So far) with this mouse.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat for a while

Pros: Agile little mouse, especially whit the dpi changes that can be made on the fly. I also like the milti-click feature available. crisp clicking decent on almost every front.

Cons: Needs every single weight it comes with otherwise feels just too light. Mouse wheel starts acting up about 2 weeks of use and after that this one doesn't want to scroll down very much if at all. Everything else still works but the mouse wheel. Plus that blue light never goes off while the computer is on for the dpi adjsuter

Other Thoughts: Fix the mouse wheel and dim the light. Beyond that this mouse is great with the available weights.

3 out of 5 eggsGood for gaming bad for browsing

Pros: Adjustable DPI
Built-in double-, triple-, quad-click
5 functional buttons
Very low friction pads on bottom.
Works great in games.
No software required.

Cons: Scroll wheel goes the old "one step forward, two steps back)
Easily demonstrated by scrolling to the top of a page and the keep scrolling. It will jump down about 4 or 5 notches.
A little light for my tastes.

Other Thoughts: Given the nature of the problem with the scroll wheel, it is most likely a plastic piece with a bump on it next to the sensor.
The scroll issue could possibly be corrected on the software side given its predictable nature. I would *almost* settle for disabling the scroll wheel.
It could use an extra 50G weight to bring it into the preferred weight range.
I hope Rosewill has learned from this mistake because the other features on the mouse are executed very well.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great sensor with DPI switch. Autoclicker built into the mouse (and not part of some software), buttons 4+5 are in a nice place. Plug and play. The mouse is very light, which is a pro for me. It's still may be very light for some people with all 7 weights inside.

Cons: Terrible scroll wheel. Absolutely terrible. Can't even use it for web browsing, it messes up while scrolling so much. Scrolling up actually makes my screen twich, and then scroll down.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for gaming, where I never really use the scroll wheel (I always switch guns with the number keys), so the scroll wheel hasn't been an issue while gaming. But it's just terrible. Can't even browse Facebook with this mouse after a week.

I bought this as a combo with the Rosewill 8200 keyboard, and for the price, it's fantastic. 5/5 stars for this mouse if you consider the price I paid. But for an overall review, this mouse is 3* at best.

3 out of 5 eggsScroll Wheel

Pros: Nice ergonomic feel to it. It's a bit big, but I have average sized hands and it's comfortable to me.

DPI and Gaming buttons are pretty cool. The LEDs behind each button change different colors when activated and the "double-click" setting would be great for gaming (I haven't really used it though).

Cons: THE SCROLL WHEEL. Everybody in the reviews has complained about it for a reason, this mouse just has an awful scroll wheel. Works for the first week and then it gets a little loose and it scrolls up 1-2 lines for every 3-4 you try to scroll down. I've gotten to where I have to click the wheel and drag down to scroll on web pages.

The weights don't really add much weight to it. It's super light without the weights and still really light with them. I was hoping for a heavier mouse for steadier aim in games, etc.

Other Thoughts: I got the mouse thrown in for free with the Rosewill Gaming Keyboard w/ Blue LED backlight. I only ordered for the keyboard which was on sale, but the mouse was just a nifty bonus for me; didn't necessarily need it. I really like it if it weren't for the scroll wheel. If you don't use your scroll wheel much, then go ahead and get this mouse, it is rather versatile and works decent, scroll wheel aside. Otherwise, DO NOT GET THIS MOUSE. The scroll wheel is a problem for everyone, it will be for you too.

3 out of 5 eggsScroll is terrible

Pros: This mouse was great for the first week or two.
The weights were nice.
The multiple profiles it has came in handy.

Cons: The scroll is the worst I've ever had. It worked fine but after the second week it would not scroll properly. It would move up and down when scrolling in just one direction.

Other Thoughts: I got it free so it's not a complete loss for me, though it's bad enough to make me buy another mouse.
