5 out of 5 eggsI loved these to death

Pros: These have been so comfortable to wear for a long time.
Nice long quality cable
The ear pads lasted
Quality sound
Quality, quality, quality. Thank you JVC!

Cons: None at all

Other Thoughts: I would buy these again without hesitation; however, the only reason I didn't was due to needing a mic.
These lasted tripping on the wire, rolling on the wire with my chair, walking away while wearing them - lol
Finally broke the 3.5mm connector after 3 years.
I shortened the cable and soldered on a new plus and they are still GTG. I now use them for listening to music and TV.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat buy

Pros: Long cord, pretty well built, best sound for the price.

Cons: drivers don't put out much bass

Other Thoughts: Had these over a year. I needed headphones to take on site at jobs that I could wear all day long and had a long cord to plug into computers under desks. They are light and comfy compared to their size, which allows me to wear them all day with only a little strain at the end of the day. Sound can be lacking on the bass at times, but you could spend twice as much on headphones or more, and get similar sound quality, so really you can't complain. I'm a DJ and I buy lots of headphones. I know headphones... I don't use these to DJ with, but to sit at a computer working all day. they are so cheap I can forget them at jobs and not feel bad for losing them.

4 out of 5 eggsSo far, so good

Pros: Just short of a year and they are as good as the day I bought them (8/15/2013)

Cons: This is a situational con but I spend a LOT of time using headphones, 10+ hours a day, and these can start to really feel tight after awhile.

On the other hand though, I'm told I have a very big head haha (23 inches around or 59cm) so depending on how often you plan to use them and how big your head is, you may want to choose carefully.

Other Thoughts: A suggestion on the tightness, while not using them I leave them stretched over something larger than my head to try and loosen them up :D So far no luck. They are VERY sturdily made haha That's likely the only time sturdy could be a CON :D

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Only becomes slightly uncomfortable over long periods (4h+) but otherwise fine. Doesn't seem to be flimsy after a month with no visible wear or tear. Very well put together for the price of $35 when I bought it.

Cons: The sound quality is not on par or even close to the $99 Sehnheiser that has thousands of reviews that I had before these. It's not that it's bad, it's more average and bass can cause it to static.

Other Thoughts: 4 Eggs because for the price of $35 these are a great value. They're not the best but they blow almost everything else at this price out of the water.

4 out of 5 eggsSame for less for decent semi-closed entry level h-phones

Pros: Decent semi-closed headphones with solid freq. sounds
Comfortable for longer time periods versus other fullsized semi's

Cons: Semi-closed headphones aren't as effective at noise cancellation
Old gen type big fullsize headphones can be uncomfortable for some after awhile

Other Thoughts: For the price as entry level semi-closed phones these work surprisingly well for my use. Only downside is these can be found for 16% less cost at bigbox retailer but am satisified with pirchase from NE (were actually gift)

5 out of 5 eggsAffordable and Great Quality

Pros: The sound is great, they hug your head and cover your ears. They're great at blocking out outside noise, and the cord is thick and durable.

Cons: They can leave some pretty gnarly headphone hair because of the giant pad on the top if you wear them for too long.

Other Thoughts: I wasn't expecting them to be as much as they are from the photos here but they are pretty huge. Not a bad thing, but they are definitely headphones you would keep at home unless you pack some serious luggage.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat headphone

Pros: These are large, ear covering headphone and that is what I was looking for. I'm no audiophile but they should great to me. The cord is plenty long so I could use them to watch TV late a night.

Cons: None

Pros: Works just fine. Good performance for the modest price.

Cons: I've used better earphones, but such devices cost a lot more as well.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Lightweight for it's size. Durable enough construction that has lasted for over a year of consistent use. Reasonably good sound. Very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.

Cons: Low frequency sound probably won't blow you away. Build quality perfectly fine for average use, but don't expect these to be built like a tank. I won''t be taking eggs off for these. If I wanted a top of the line headphone set, then I should have coughed up the money.

Other Thoughts: Very good headphones for the price, and perfectly adequate for day to day use. Audio quality is always going to be subjective. If you;re an audiophile that's very picky about sound, then you should probably move on. II found that these are fine for gaming and watching moves. I've owned headphones in the past that I thought had better bass response, but those headphone also cost me allot more. They do, what I'd consider to be, an average job at shielding out ambient sounds. If you're using these in a loud environment, then your probably going to have a to turn up the volume a little. I remember first getting these from Newegg, and I the build quality might suffer since the price was pretty low. But I've have these for over a year now, and use them daily. Zero issues with the cabling or frame. No sound issues either. The bottom of the right cup has a very small tear, but this can be caused by just regular use. In the end, I'm happy I bought these.
