1 out of 5 eggsTerrible

Pros: I bought one 13 months ago, but after heavy use the right speaker was busted.

Cons: After buying a new one, after 2 weeks of moderate use the right speaker got busted. I had to pay 12$ to return it, and I had to wait 2 weeks to have a new one sent to me.

Other Thoughts: Cheap, unreliable, bulky, long chord, problematic with the right speaker.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Bought these back in 2012 and have used them at work for at least a year total. I also have a pair of Beats Studio (second gen), and these headphones have much higher sound quality. Great sound at every frequency (that I can hear). These are also extremely comfy and can be worn all day without noticing. They also feel pretty sturdy.

Cons: They are huge on your head. They also don't seal out noise as much as I would like. They also tend to slip off if you are looking down (not great for playing guitar)

Other Thoughts: All in all, for a tenth of the price of fancy Beats headphones, you get at least 3x the sound quality. They are comfy but not great for use if you are moving a lot. Buy these, you wont regret it.

5 out of 5 eggsJust What I Needed

Pros: Just what I needed, no more no less. the 14 foot cable that connects to my Sony amplifier/receiver. The adapter plugs for the full size and the mini size plugins, and they are pretty comfortable too. The sound, for me, is terrific. I can listen to my TV/DVD player with this now. I like loud rock-n-roll music as well as jazz, they all sound great. And above all the price was well within my budget. These replace a pair of KOSS I had for almost 20 years. They had dried up and started crackling, they were great phones for the day, but these are a great addition.

Cons: None that I can recall,

Other Thoughts: Like anything else you either look at or listen to, everybody is different, but I think for a good pair of headphones, that lets you listen in private, these definitely fill the bill. I took a chance on these but since these were JVC and knew they were quality right out of the box, I got them.

5 out of 5 eggsNothing under $50 beats these cans

Pros: - Mids and highs and fantastically clear
- Bass is deep but not overwhelming
- Frequency response is generally great for this price point
- Build quality is fantastic
- Comes with a 3.5/6.5mm converter
- Cord is long and very solid
- Fit adjustment could fit almost any head

Cons: - Took a little while to "break in" but were well worth the wait
- Could feel a little heavy after wearing for extended periods
- Could leak sound on higher volumes

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for headphones under the $50 price point, look no further. These are for you. The build quality is outstanding, sound is crystal clear and the fit is very flexible to adjust.

5 out of 5 eggsMy new favorite headphones

Pros: Amazingly comfortable, great build quality, and the best sounding headphones I have ever owned.

Cons: Too large to wear while active, these are definitely sit-at-your-desk phones.

Other Thoughts: I was definitely surprised at the quality, considering what I paid for them.

5 out of 5 eggsI loved these to death

Pros: These have been so comfortable to wear for a long time.
Nice long quality cable
The ear pads lasted
Quality sound
Quality, quality, quality. Thank you JVC!

Cons: None at all

Other Thoughts: I would buy these again without hesitation; however, the only reason I didn't was due to needing a mic.
These lasted tripping on the wire, rolling on the wire with my chair, walking away while wearing them - lol
Finally broke the 3.5mm connector after 3 years.
I shortened the cable and soldered on a new plus and they are still GTG. I now use them for listening to music and TV.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat buy

Pros: Long cord, pretty well built, best sound for the price.

Cons: drivers don't put out much bass

Other Thoughts: Had these over a year. I needed headphones to take on site at jobs that I could wear all day long and had a long cord to plug into computers under desks. They are light and comfy compared to their size, which allows me to wear them all day with only a little strain at the end of the day. Sound can be lacking on the bass at times, but you could spend twice as much on headphones or more, and get similar sound quality, so really you can't complain. I'm a DJ and I buy lots of headphones. I know headphones... I don't use these to DJ with, but to sit at a computer working all day. they are so cheap I can forget them at jobs and not feel bad for losing them.

4 out of 5 eggsSo far, so good

Pros: Just short of a year and they are as good as the day I bought them (8/15/2013)

Cons: This is a situational con but I spend a LOT of time using headphones, 10+ hours a day, and these can start to really feel tight after awhile.

On the other hand though, I'm told I have a very big head haha (23 inches around or 59cm) so depending on how often you plan to use them and how big your head is, you may want to choose carefully.

Other Thoughts: A suggestion on the tightness, while not using them I leave them stretched over something larger than my head to try and loosen them up :D So far no luck. They are VERY sturdily made haha That's likely the only time sturdy could be a CON :D

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Only becomes slightly uncomfortable over long periods (4h+) but otherwise fine. Doesn't seem to be flimsy after a month with no visible wear or tear. Very well put together for the price of $35 when I bought it.

Cons: The sound quality is not on par or even close to the $99 Sehnheiser that has thousands of reviews that I had before these. It's not that it's bad, it's more average and bass can cause it to static.

Other Thoughts: 4 Eggs because for the price of $35 these are a great value. They're not the best but they blow almost everything else at this price out of the water.
