3 out of 5 eggsComfortable, sounds good

Pros: - Comfortable
- Good, clear sound
- Good adjustment

Cons: - About 6 months into ownership, noticed that the very thin leatherette earpiece covering has worn off, showing the foam underneath, which is itself pilling. I dug up the invoice and it looks like this excessive wear should be covered by the warranty, so am going to try and get a new pair of removable ear covers from JVC.

Other Thoughts: JVC needs to make better covers. Previously, I had an AKG headset that lasted over 20 years w/o any real wear on the ear covers.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic buy. I love it. Techno Fanatic Approved

Pros: +Long Cable. (Very long. Some people say its too long but i say how is that really possible. i mean come on. Watch where you're stepping i guess...?) I can walk around my smallish room with some easy with these still plugged into my computer without having to worry about stepping too far and unplugging them. So, really, wirelessness is still irrelevant.
+Again, bass. You can really feel it shake the headphones when you make them work and you can feel the pressure on and around your ear along with the typical heavy pressure feeling in your ear with a strong sine wave.
+Very Hard to make it buzz out via bass and loudness
+Comfortable to wear for however long. The headband sits somewhat loosely but snug enough to not let it slip any bit on top of your head. The ear pieces are nicely fit and sit around my ears perfectly, and i have somewhat big ears, i figure. Note- If you wear them backwards, it will be easy to notice because of the way your ears are supposed to nest in the cups.
+ Nice minimal color ashy look. Not over the top attention seeking glamour focused.
+Very great bass response while withholding clear treble at the same time and no sound dipping ever yet.
+Okay noise cancelation. Not the greatest but when you put these one, they do muffle out a lot of background noise pretty well. When you're playing music, you can forget about paying attention to your audible surroundings with the same ease of earbuds.
+Much expansion room for people with massive heads. (no offense intended. Just that there is really plenty of room for anyone and maybe too much for people with smaller heads.)
+Came with a 6.3 (seemingly) gold adapter
+Seems to be built very well and strong.
+The cushioned cups rotate with a little squeeze and twist/rotation to better suit your interests, although i dont find any real benefit to doing this as much as you are making a problem of overcomplicating the function of comfort.
+They make me appreciate having a decent Audio card and EQ.

Cons: -No little rack thing to sit/hang them on came with. It would be nice to have a thing to keep these off of the grime of the workplace and out of danger of many things. For example, i let them sit on my desk but a couple times, already, the cable was sitting near my feet and i stepped on it and pulled it off of my desk and i fear for its longevity takes to my accidental abuse to it :C . Its really my fault but i feel like there could be something to help me out such as a stand to put these on and keep them out of everythings way.
Not really a big problem though. Not at all.
-They're a little big and can be hard to grasp and pull off of your head of you dont have a firm grip on them since they're soo big around. Again, not really a problem of the product as it is of the user.

Other Thoughts: +It works great with my computer and my tv
+I listen to tons of electronic music and quality playback peripherals are an extreme requirement. I didn't realize how amazing of a difference you can have with sound quality until i stopped buying 20-25$ for earbuds and picked up this guy for 70. I am very happy that i did. These always sound pure and clean.
I listen, for example of where im hearing from, to tech house, hard techno, underground techno, gabber, progressive trance.
Also, These headphones have had me make a hobby of slowing down my fast musics and enjoying everything at turtle techno speed of 45 to 70bpm for bass glory. Thank you JVC :)

5 out of 5 eggsDurable

Pros: Great headphones esp. if you have a big head and big ears.

Cons: The only thing I can think of of is the cord is really long, maybe even too long.

5 out of 5 eggsheadpohones

Pros: Budget friendly and sounds as good as many of the most expensive models/brands, extremely comfortable.

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: I haven't finished the burn in time yet on them that most say they need to be good, out of the box they are pretty awesome so I can only imagine they will be even better.

5 out of 5 eggsOver the ear Headphones

Pros: Fit is adjusted easily. Comfortable. Weight is carried very well.

Cons: None that I'm aware of.

Other Thoughts: I do not have 'Golden Ears' so I'll leave such subjective things to those that do have them. I've always found no difference to me buying in this price range and anything I could afford with a tax windfall.

5 out of 5 eggsLove these

Pros: Wow! I love these headphones. Even though I have a fat head and large ears, they fit comfortably over the ears. I bought these because I have a Gigabyte Brix gaming system, which gets pretty loud! I read the reviews of the Brix, and someone suggested these headphones as a good way to block out the noise without paying hundreds of dollars for super-duper noise-cancelling headphones. They were spot on. Now I'm sure a pair of 300 dollar headphones would work better, but for the money these can't be beat. Besides I listened to a lot of heavy metal music in my youth, so my hearing is not that good to tell the difference anymore. These are great and are only like 50 bucks. I probably should buy another pair or two as spares.

Cons: None I can think of. They do exactly what I need at a great price and are very comfortable.

4 out of 5 eggsNot a bad set of cans

Pros: These headphones cannot be beat for the money. Great sound at a great price. Long cord gives you flexibility.

-Sound Quality
-Long cord

Cons: A little tight on the head for those of us with a large melon. This has diminished over time though. The biggest con is that EVERYONE can hear what you're listening to. So if you listen to things that you'd not want others to hear then these headphones will not mitigate that risk.

-Can be tight on the head
-Leaks sound profusely
-Huge. Like wearing cupcakes on your ears.

Other Thoughts: In this price range they cannot be beat. At least I haven't found anything. Be prepared to look like you're on the pit crew at Talladega. I have no shame and value sound quality over everything else. Who cares if my neighbor can hear? I just want to share :P

5 out of 5 eggsComfortable, Great Sound

Pros: Extremely Comfortable, Great Sound, Long Cord, Large

Cons: Very Large, Cord may be too long for some

Other Thoughts: Picked these up based on other reviews saying they were comfortable and delivered good sound. Most headphones either squeeze my head or crush my ears, but I can wear these for hours on end with no discomfort whatsoever. Using them for gaming along with a separate microphone. Loving them so far.

4 out of 5 eggsReviewing after 3 years

Pros: Great sound quality, comfortable, long cord

Cons: Doesn't fit the wife's head (not my problem)

Other Thoughts: Bought these a few years ago after the wife complained about the noise from gaming. Used pretty much daily since.

Sound quality is fantastic for the price, at both loud and soft levels. Easy to wear for several hours although in the summer they do get warm after extended periods. They've held up great and still sound great.

I wear these on the smallest setting and I'm a normal sized guy. Just a caution if you think you have a small head.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Durable
Mostly comfortable
Long cable
Decent Sound Quality

Cons: After 5 or 6+ hours they get mildly uncomfortable to wear with glasses. Most headphones like this do though.

Other Thoughts: I've owned these headphones and used them on a daily basis for well over 2 years now. I've played games, listened to music, and watched TV shows/movies. The sound quality is good and the headphones have made it through much wear and tear.

I'm happy I bought these.
