1 out of 5 eggsFirst time Klipsch, last time Klipsch

Pros: Nice sound., any movement transferred to wires and then you hear it. Terrible Headphones unless you sit perfectly still. I am not moving around, using these on desk top PC and just moving head, gets cable rub against body and you can hear it. I would never buy another Klipsch product again.

Cons: Cable Rub sound. looks flimsly

5 out of 5 eggsGreat sound

Pros: Great Sound. I got these for $34 on sale here, but I would say they are worth the $98 they are selling for now. Just a great sound balance over all. I don't claim that I can tell good from great sound, but I can certainly tell good from adequate, and these are definitely good.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggslove sound, all 4 pairs bad connects

Pros: great sound- bass and treble not distorted

Cons: over last 8 years, used 3 other brand for comparison-- klipsch s4 have best overall sound but had 4 pairs- all broke with bad connections within 3 mths use-am not particularly hard on ear phones- klipsch just refuses to improve the wire connections at all

Other Thoughts: the kilpsch sound is superior for the frequent $30 sale price but after 4 different pairs of s4 and the same flimsey connections failing, its time to go elsewhere
btw, have used klipsch seakers on my pc which r alive after 9 years but others have frequent overheat problems

5 out of 5 eggsPretty dang nice

Pros: Very clear sound, deep bass, and quality you'd expect from a celebrity endorsed product that would cost $200 or more from your local Best Buy.

Cons: As with all in-ear buds, you'll get some noise from the wire rubbing against clothes or other surfaces.

Other Thoughts: The quality of the sound really shines when you jack the volume up (discretion is advised, don't blow your eardrums out). I could have easily been out a few hundred dollars for comparable quality, but I'm glad I gave these a chance.

1 out of 5 eggsNever again

Pros: Sounded great for 1st month....

Cons: I bought 2 pair. Having problems with both pairs. I have had to have them replace twice and are broke again. Sound starts coming out only one ear bud. I think its the connecter. Klipsch wont say....just wanst to keep sending me new ones. Bad product!!!

Other Thoughts: I am surprised to get such a bad product from a company like this

1 out of 5 eggswon't stay in

Pros: Great sound IF they fit your ear.

Cons: These will not stay in my ears. I have tried the largest eartip that comes with these, but they are simply too small to hold the phones in my ears. This is the first in a half-dozen different in-ear models that I have tried that do not fit properly. Without the good fit, they sound terrible, and worse, they just fall out. They make a larger eartip for these, but they do not include them with the headphones! So I am crying foul. These are basically worthless to me and I am not about to pay another $15 on the chance that their largest tips will work for me. I am very disappointed.

Other Thoughts: I did manage to shove these in so far that they both sealed, stayed and HURT like crazy. But when I did that, they did sound really good. Probably as good as anything else I have heard for $100 or even more. But I can't cram them in that far safely, so I am warning people with large ear canals to stay away.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat while they worked

Pros: Comfortable, good sound.

Cons: Failed within 10 months. Sound is highly distorted in one channel (e.g., I can hear music track fine but audio track is distorted/indecipherable). Expect better from earphones this expensive.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't mind at all buying a pair every 6 months if they were $10. Like other reviewers, I found them too flimsy and prone to wiring issues.

1 out of 5 eggsGood luck with the warranty

Pros: Extremely comfortable - I absolutely love how they fit. The only earbuds I've ever owned that I could wear all day without any irritation to my ears. Also, they did have good bass response.

Cons: Right out of the box, I thought the audio quality is middle of the road, if not a bit on the low end. Bass was good, but the mids and highs were muddy and scratchy. However, I bought them to listen to audiobooks and podcasts, so I wasn't too concerned.

I used them daily for about five weeks when the wire was starting to short out at the base, just above the 3.5mm plug. The audio would cut out with the slightest movement. Pinching it, or tugging to left and right could sometimes restore the sound, but it quickly got to the point where it was almost impossible to get any sound out of 'em.

I recognize that reliable earbuds are a myth, and that they ALL short out eventually. No matter how much you spend, they just seem to be a disposable product. However, five weeks in inexcusable. I expect to get a year or two at this price point, especially from such a reputable company.

So, I called Klipsh to activate the 2 year warranty. The guy at the call center gave me instructions to email and explain the issue and attach a copy of the purchase receipt.

I did that over a week ago, and haven't heard a peep from Klipsh. Just emailed them again, but I don't have a lot of hope that they're going to respond at this point.

Other Thoughts: Once I heard the short, I started shopping again. The Panasonic RP-HJE120-K have a similar design and audio quality at a HUGE discount compared to these. They're not nearly as comfortable, but if I'm going to be forced to buy headphones every 5 weeks, I'd rather pay $7 instead of $40.

5 out of 5 eggsA decent pair of headphones for the price

Pros: Nice look and feel to the overall earbuds, they seemed to have fixed the logo from fading off the earbuds, compared to the klipsh s4i. The bass is decent given the price point

Cons: Cable does feel slightly flimsy

Other Thoughts: Good value

2 out of 5 eggsI WANT to Love These

Pros: Extremely comfortable
Good quality sound
Nice carrying case

Cons: Easily tangled
Break too easily

Other Thoughts: These are so frustrating to own! The sound quality is very good, and these are by far the most comfortable earbuds I have ever had. Comes with several soft silicone tips that make fitting easy. I have very small ear canals and the smallest double flange tips fit perfectly. I wear these all night long because my bed partner snores quit a bit. I've owned 4 pairs in the last year and a half. I would have rated these 0 stars except for how darn comfortable they are.

The first pair lasted about 6 months, the second one my new kitten chewed through (so not the manufacturer's fault there) The third and now fourth ones each had one of the channels go out within 3 months of use.

Love them and hate them and now I am done buying them. I have purchased these from 3 different places.
