Pros: -Worked Great for the first 1,200 pages or so.
-Excellent price compared to the Brothers OEM cartridge.

Cons: About half way through the expected life of the cartridge as reported by Brother's maintenance webpage for the printer, the pages began printing lighter in some parts of the page and then eventually the entire page only prints in varying shades of grey. Tried shaking the cartridge, re-installing, etc without success. Also confirmed that I don't have the "Toner Save" feature enabled.

I was unfortunate enough to buy this cartridge at the same time I bought my Brother HL-2270DW printer in 2013 so after talking with Rosewill's customer support and then getting a call back from supervisor they both informed me that I'm out luck because its been over 1 year since it was purchased. The supervisor even checked my New Egg order to see I bought the replacement cartridge at the same time as I purchased the printer.

Other Thoughts: Do NOT buy this cartridge BEFORE you need it or if you won't print over 2,000 pages in a year or you'll be out luck if you have any problems with the quality of the print. With of 25% of the reviews being 1 star I would not recommend purchasing this print cartridge if you need print outs that are of consistent quality.

Based off of how I was treated by Rosewill's customer support this is the last time I will do business with their company. I didn't ask for a full refund, just a pro-rated amount based on the number of pages I should have been able to print. I'm a reasonable person and this is the first time I've ever dealt with a company that made almost no attempt to keep me as customer when I called with a problem.

Pros: It works as it should, and was much cheaper than the name brand.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have heard that they can run out prematurely, but it is still working for me, so I cannot comment on this yet.

Pros: Replacement of expired cartridge was easy and everything fit nicely

Cons: after about a year the Brother spit out the 'replace cartridge' demand... and the cartridge had lots of toner left (employed a work around of placing a small piece of electrical tape over the sensor hole)... more recently the print quality is noticeably less crisp (seems like cartridge is applying too much toner) and there are some smudges most noticeably around the edges on the pages... not being a printer tech, I don't know if it is the toner cartridge or the drum or the fuser issue. I would think that Rosewill would publish some pics to help me diagnose the issue especially if that type of issue is not of their cartridge's doing...

Other Thoughts: ...soooooo, I don't know whether to go back to OEM or whether I should just bite the bullet and buy a new printer... J

Pros: It worked, it was reasonably easy to install.

Cons: This product either falls woefully short of claims, or the one I got was only partially filled.

The counter on my printer is barely past 1600 - which also includes the original toner which came with the printer (which lasted over 500pp). Which implies this toner, despite being "high yield", has yielded scarcely 1000 pages.

I've not been printing any heavily graphics-laden pages and most of my multi-page print jobs were plain text with plenty of white space. Even if I were using twice the print density as expected, this toner still comes up well short of the purported 2600pp claim.

Print quality was OK but never great. There was a little unevenness to any large print areas.

Pros: Fit into my Brother printer without any problems. I will order another as a replacement.

Cons: Great price!

Pros: Love this towner better then the original. Nice crisp black color. Installed with no problem & worked without resetting anything. I would recomend it with no reservations.

Cons: Original toner that came with printer said it was out at 384 pages. I opened the maintenance area and hit continue and got to 638 pages before the original toner ran out.

Other Thoughts: Don't throw your towner out when it says it is empty because there is much more left!!

Pros: The toner really does last a long time and output quality is as good as any.

Cons: The printer warns of low toner early. I didn't count it, but I got probably somewhere between 2x and 3x more pages after the low toner warning than I did before the warning. I also occasionally removed the toner and tilted the container from side-to-side.

Other Thoughts: I feel like I got the promised amount of pages, though I can't prove it. Don't believe the low toner warning. Keep printing until the printer says you are out of toner and won't print anymore.

Other Thoughts: First, let me say that I have purchased several Roeswill products and have been quite happy with them. This one is my first disappointment. I purchased the Rosewill RTCA-TN450 late in December 2013 so I would have one on hand when the original OEM toner that came with the printer was exhausted. Rosewill claims that the RTCA-TN450 produces approximately 2600-page yield - I got less than 500 pages. I don't do a lot of printing. The original TN-420 Brother standard yield toner (1200 pages) that came with the Brother HL-2270DW printer I bought in April 2013 lasted until the fall of 2014. In less than 6 months, in less than one ream of paper, the Rosewill toner is running on empty. The low toner light is lit and the print quality is getting poorer and poorer. I removed and shook the toner to see if that would help, it did but not much. At least I'm getting even quality across the page now where before there were lighter and darker streaks. So now I need to buy a new toner and I am torn between buying a Brother OEM toner or taking a chance on another Rosewil convincing myself that the one I got was just a fluke.
