Pros: Everything you would expect from a Nikon - straightforward controls, simple point & shoot, excellent underwater photography, best auto-panorama feature I've ever seen! Excellent 1080p movies with a simple button to activate the movie mode (no complex changing from modes like some point & shoot cameras). Very sensitive in low light, scene selection is very simple to use and is excellent in most lighting conditions underwater. Battery is quite good: went a full day with a 4 gig card doing movies and 12 megapixel images and still had enough to replay them on the TV back at the room! Cons: None that I've noticed so far. Other Thoughts: As a long-time D-70 user, I expected Nikon to produce a quality product (and did not expect the camera to produce images comparable to the D-70). Pleasantly surprised that such a simple camera produces images that only a professional photographer might have issues with: most of us will be quite happy with the results. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. N/A 1/31/2012 9:42:52 AM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 4/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 3/5All Condition Rugged Camera Pros: Rugged, light weight, water proof, well constructed, easy to use Cons: Point and shoot, VERY poor depth of field, color isn't bad, but not really good either, price for a point and shoot camera, not a whole lot of options, video is worst I've seen in a few years (but I didn't buy it for video, nor do I recomend anyone else. You want video then go get something meant for video, Duhhhh). Other Thoughts: This is a very good camera for a simple point and shoot I guess. However, being Nikon and for the cost of it versus comparable cameras, I really expected more. Maybe that's my fault. I guess the biggest complaint is depth of field. I bought this for a trip to Bogota Colombia. A very mountainous area. The pics made mountains look distorted. Even a friends $60 special had a better depth of field than this. Very disappointing.
