5 out of 5 eggsAbsolutly Canon all over again

Pros: I always preferred canon cameras over all other brands and miss my Canon AE1 Program but don't miss the expense of film cameras for sure, this one has all the features and then some for what I use it for which is mostly scenic on trips across this great country, plan to take plenty of pictures on our 3 weeks vacation in a couple weeks and will see Yellowstone YIPPIE, I miss the mountains. Put a 32GB card in this and at highest resolution that gives over 5,000 pictures so that is good deal I do not need at highest so will kick it back a notch and have more pictures, The video portion is simple enough to use as is the rest of the features of this camera once you get used to it. Nice wide carry strap that doesn't dig into your neck and it is lighter than my old Canon camera and don't have to keep changing film, flash auto pops up if needed for darker indoor shots it flashes a couple times to be sure it gets focus right then takes shot PERFECTION I love it

Cons: the price is still too high on DSLR cameras but that is something we have to deal with for now

5 out of 5 eggsGreat beginer DSLR

Pros: Great for beginers, As this is my first DSLR i love this camera. I use to use a Canon Powershot a590 IS, So Upgrading to this was easy. Not much of a differeance with the settings. I paired this with the 55-250 IS lens and WOW. The kit lens on the camera has improved over previous models.

Cons: Movie recording is only in QuickTime format which sucks cause I do not use any products from Apple.

Other Thoughts: Canon should gicve it's cutomers a free tool to convert from the QuickTime format to atleast a windows type MPEG format.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Camera

Pros: This is my first DSLR camera! I took this out of the box, and the feel was very comfortable. The camera takes very good pictures and has plenty of modes to get that perfect shot. I never knew that photos could be such a high quality. I was used to the point and shoot cameras, now im a huge DSLR fan. My suggestion is to buy this camera! You wont regret it.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: Although the price for DSLR camera's are more expensive that the point and shoot's, dont be afraid to get one. they have much more capabilities!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Camera!

Pros: This is my first DSLR canon and I have had it now about a year. I am very happy with the quality so you can't go wrong there. Although this camera is only 12.2 mp it's still enough for what I want to do now and the price was great. I like the lens that came with it (18-55 mm) and now want to add the 55-250 IS telephoto. My shots are mainly nature oriented but I have taken some indoor pics as well and they came out great too. You can do alot with this camera as there are alot of different settings to work with and the built-in flash works well also. I have to say you can't go wrong shopping with Newegg because I always get very good service from this company and most of the time their sale prices with free shipping cannot be matched locally! I would definitely recommend this camera to someone who is just starting out with DSLR. Just love it...

Cons: Only one con and that's I wish Canon would "always" include the 3 filter lenses so you wouldn't have to go and buy them separately- as this is an important accessory for the camera.

4 out of 5 eggsNice camera

Pros: Simple operation, decent construction.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I purchased this camera to use as a replacement for my wife's 35mm camera. I tried to get a similar camera so that she did not have to re-learn the operations of it. It works very well on it's automatic settings, and the more complicated manual settings are very much like the old 35mm type. A very nice camera.

5 out of 5 eggsOur 1st DSLR camera

Pros: Awesome quality, that the videos even lag out my 7 year old tower :3
Guess it's time for an upgrade.

Cons: not really a con, but for those looking to take moon shots,
you'll need to get a tripod, and a IS lens of at least 250mm, to see any decent craters or pop marks on the surface :)

5 out of 5 eggsawesome entry level camera

Pros: The T3 performs wonderfully with anything I throw at it. No complaints whatsoever thus far. Also works with a ton of lenses I tried

Cons: Wouldn't mind a faster shooting rate. 1080p video shouldn't just be a T3i feature

5 out of 5 eggsRecommended buy in my opinion.

Pros: -Inexpensive
-Auto Detect feature
-3 HDMI inputs
-Remote control included

Cons: Only con I can think of is that there is an optional power supply but does not include an power adapter.

Other Thoughts: Overall it's a great product. I haven't had any problems with it so far. I have my PS3 and cable box(optimum/iO) hooked up to a older LCD tv with only 1 hdmi input. Auto detect feature works great, turn one item off and the other on and it switches right over.

Again the only flaw I could find was that the power adapter was not included but in my case it was not needed.
