Pros: Easy to learn to use for someone new to DSLR. The camera body has some high quality lens which can upgrade to future camera bodies. The programming options are easy for me to use, and monochrome in particular looks excellent. It's also easy for me to play with aperture or shutter speed depending on the need. I used the camera in Yellowstone and the only problem was the cheap filters I bought to go with it. Seems kind of silly on my part to spend $1400 on camera equipment and $1.99 on filters. Does great (for my expectation) at capturing wildlife. I have many good photos of birds in flight captured at a high speed... image is crisp.
Cons: None. I am not a professional and this is my first non point and shoot camera (though it has a point and shoot mode).
Other Thoughts: Purchase a back up battery and a couple of large memory cards to go with it. The batteries last a long time, but after a bunch of photos (300+) it could wear down. I've taken it through a couple of national parks and between two batteries and two 32GB flash cards never had an issue with power or memory. The software that comes with it is not useful to me... I think it is for more advanced users. I end up using the std MS Office offering.

Rating: 5/5Great Case!
Pros: Looks great. Quiet, especially on the low fan speeds. Modular drive bays are great. Quality!
Cons: The instructions are pretty much non existent. I had to do some research while building my pc.
There isn't a dust filter on the side around the 200 mm fan. It really should not be an issue though.
Other Thoughts: I got this case to replace my Old one from 2005. This case is really a nice upgrade. The fit and finish are very good. The cable management is great, although I could have used a slightly larger bulge behind the motherboard tray to tuck unused cables from my NON modular PSU. A non modular PSU is next on the list though.

Rating: 5/5so far, so great!
Pros: Just got it setup about 2 hours ago and so far the 5 ghz is awesome. We have a baby monitor camera on the opposite side of the wall that was at constant odds with my old Netgear 3500. My wife and I have iPhone 5s that can utilize the 5ghz band and it is amazing so far. Initially it seemed like the 5ghz had no range. My iPhone connection would stop working as soon as I got more than 5 feet from the modem. I started to panic, but first rebooted my phone completely and it is screaming fast now. It is way faster than the 3500 was without any interference. I will update later on if any problems develop. I'm using the firmware that was there when it shipped, rev 20 I believe.
Cons: The setting updates in the software take a while. It is similar to my other Netgear products. Just a little annoying when you are experimenting with different settings.

Pros: Bought the T3i to replace/upgrade my old original Rebel. Needless to say, in comparison the T3i blows the old Rebel away in terms of photographic quality and build quality. I love the freedom the T3i gives me unparalleled freedom in shooting almost anything. Plus, you can't beat the deal with the kit lens.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: While I like the 18-135mm kit lens, it is a bit lacking in low light. But this can be overcome with tweaking the camera settings and a bit of editing.

Rating: 5/5Capable yet budget-friendly camera
Pros: Easy to use. Great shots. More common SD card memory.
Some have said the battery life is bad, but I've had several all day shoots and it hasn't needed to be recharged yet - note I don't use the LCD for photos.
Quality for the price can't be beaten!
Cons: Needs 5 fps vs 3.7 fps.
Needs a 1/8000 of a second faster shutter speed.
Other Thoughts: Overall, I liked the Canon 600D, and it remains a top choice for those looking for a capable yet budget-friendly camera. While I don't think most Rebel T2i owners are going to be rushing out to buy one, it's a nice upgrade for those with older Rebel models. Just don't forget to save some money for some nice lenses to go along with it!
Purchased at same time: Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Lens

Rating: 5/5More features than I could dream of.
Pros: This is an impressive piece of equipment!!! It is going to take me a year to explore all the possible settings that I can use and enjoy. I now want to take shots of everything then weed out the bad ones. Just cannot put this camera down. The lens that comes with this package is perfect for a lot of different shots. I DO recommend getting a UV filter if only to protect the lens.
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: My last SLR camera was a T70 bought in 1987. Had been using a "super zoom" digital in the interim, waiting for the DSLRs to be as good of quality as 35mm film. Boy am I glad I waited. Will probably be another 15 years before I purchase another "high end" camera.

Rating: 5/5Best EOS Rebel Yet
Pros: This is by far the best rebel yet. The camera is relatively light without feeling cheap, the image quality is excellent (except the offered combo lenses are not usually of the "L" series quality), and it is feature rich.
If you are in the market for perhaps the best semi-pro digital camera do not sit this one out. The T3i will meet all of your needs and the current pricing is super reasonable...see other thoughts.
Cons: The major con is that to keep the cost competitive and to preserve the prices of more expensive models the T3i's image sensor is 22.3 x 14.9 mm rather than the 35 mm full frame size of 36.0mm x 24.0mm found in the 5D. For most of us this is not an issue, especially considering the price difference. For myself I usually multiply the focal length by 1.5 (1.6 for those who are good with mental math)to guesstimate the relative focal length in respect to standard 35 mm SLR's.
Don't be fooled by the number of megapixels, once you get to 12 megapixels you can enlarge with cropping to 11 x 14 which is larger than many non-pro photo inkjet printers. What makes a bigger difference is trading up from the EF series of lenses to the Canon L series. L lenses allow for greater enlargements and, if you can believe it, improved color saturation without the photoshop plug-in hassle.
None of the cons are enough to subtract any eggs from an otherwise outstanding product.
Other Thoughts: I have owned Canon's back to the AE-1 days, I have a vintage T-90, a slew of point and shoot film and digital Canons, and digital SLR's. Perhaps it is the novelty of a new product but I prefer this camera to my EOS 5D because of the weight difference. There is a major $500.00 rebate on a Pixma 9500 printer from Canon when purchased with this camera. I bought both at the same time from a different vendor than Newegg but the rebate isn't specific to the vendor. This makes this a very reasonable priced combo with truly amazing prints...both color, and more impressively, black and white prints.
Another minor negative (not enough to remove an egg) is that there are so many features I believe that it is impossible to master all of the benefits of this feature rich camera. I wish electronic manufacturers would provide an option (listen up Canon) that would allow for easy programming of a user defined menu to let us define the most common options that are important to any specific end user.

Rating: 4/5Product detail missing
Pros: # of features
Cons: Product detail on a camera MUST ALWAYS include its weight. I would never buy such a product not knowing that detail, and so, I'm looking elsewhere.

Rating: 5/5Very Satisfied
Pros: Great image quality, convenient LCD flap feature, body is solid but not too heavy. 67mm diameter zoom lens provides good range for video taping without sacrificing image quality. EF mounting keeps wide range selection of available lens for upgrade.
Cons: Shutter sound is still not low enough although it is better than the old SLR models.
