Cons: No eye view finder, a bit expensive, I paid $750 only to see the price drop to $700 a week later. Other Thoughts: I love this camera, a great low light performer for its price.Rated highest performer by Consumers report,only 6 out of 41 HD cameras got that rating,4 Sony's and two Canon. Read feedback from B+H by people that know what they are talking about. The previous review is totally wrong. One reason I bought the camera is shake reduction, I have a tremor in my right hand, the 580 active steady shot takes that out completely. Eugene Did you find this review helpful? David 5/28/2012 11:50:45 AM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 3/5	Rating: 1/5Terrible Low Light Quality Pros: 5.1 surround mic., peaking and zebra stripes.. Cons: The low light quality is very poor. Even indoors with regular lighting conditions the video gets grainy quick.. Only in very bright situations does this camcorder have good quality. Also the mic seems muffled.. Other Thoughts: Sony took away alot of features this year compared to last years HDR-CX560v. They put in a smaller sensor 1/3 compared to last years 1/2.88. They also removed the manual dial and night shot. There is no control over iris, shutter, focus and AE Shift.. The lens isn't as wide either.. They also moved the SD card slot to the bottom so if your recording on a tripod you cant change cards with out removing the camcorder from the tripod. Very disappointed.. I didn't buy mine from Newegg. I got it from another etailer.. I had it for 2 weeks then returned it. I wouldnt recommended this to anyone.. Did you find this review helpful?
