5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Perfect for my PnS. Very cheap, sturdy, multi-directional adjustments.

I can finally use the lower ISO settings on my camera, which is the difference between a crummy picture and a good picture, sometimes.

Cons: It isn't 6 feet high and free?

1 out of 5 eggsWhat?

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: Cheap! Can't hold up a slr without taking a nose dive.

Other Thoughts: If you photograph straight up your fine. Try to do a downward angle and nose dive!

5 out of 5 eggsVivitar 9 inch Tabletop Tripod

Pros: There is a much more stable footing on this tripod than your run of the mill units. The front two legs support even my largest cameras while the rear leg give the stability I need. It is a nine inch tripod but when set up for use, has the same height at the six inch tripods I use but with almost double the footing. Don't have to worry about it tipping over even when I have the camera set to take a shot straight down on a table top. Glad I found this and am going to order a couple of more for each of my other cameras. Will work excellent on a video camera or camcorder.

Cons: With the legs fully extended out, it does take a lot more space. If you have a very limited area your are working in, it might be difficult to set up.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Small, light, simple.

Great for a light, no space emergency tripod, I carry it in my camera bag at all times.

Cons: I don't think I'd use a larger lens, or severe angles with this; with my d5100 and 18-55 kit lens I wasn't 100% confident that it stable(I didn't actually have an issue though).

Other Thoughts: It seemed like the adjustment screw needed a lot of tension to be stable, I can't get a good feeling for what too much is, but I haven't been there yet.
