5 out of 5 eggsExcellent backpack

Pros: Great quality, versatile, comfortable

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I purchased this backpack three years ago, and I love it as much today as the day I bought it. I've taken it on several vacations and countless hiking day trips, and have never had a problem with the build quality.

The laptop pocket isn't huge, but it's great for an iPad or a thin, sub-15" laptop.

The shoulder straps can be configured to work as a conventional two-strap or a single strap, and in either mode, the pack is easy to swing around your shoulder to give you two-handed access to the side openings of the main compartment without having to take it off. There's also an adjustable waist strap that will help secure it if you're trekking through the wilderness.

The main lower compartment has velcro dividers that are configurable, or removable. I currently have mine set up to accommodate a DSLR with a 70-300mm zoom lens attached, and another five compartments to hold a 18-55mm kit lens, flash, charger, lens hood and another advanced P&S camera.

I've only needed to use the rain cover twice, but when I did, it worked well.

So if you find yourself in need of a comfortable, versatile, durable backpack to store all of your camera gear and then some, this fits the bill perfectly.

2 out of 5 eggsThink Twice About This One

Pros: The materials used for this bag feels like it's made of premium quality. The functionality of this bag which lets you wear it as a backpack or as a sling is an incredible feat. I feel it has sufficient padding and pockets necessary for extra memory cards, accessories, etc. It's has a stylish, premium bag look to it, but that's where the deception is.

Cons: The stitching on this is very poor. It is so poor that it outweighs any of the pros I listed for the bag. As I'm using it, in the back of my mind I'm wondering how long it will last and I will begin to feel like I've wasted money on it. The velcro that's stitched for the interior pocket and the bottom pocket that holds the tripod feet is very poorly stitched on. The stitching isn't even straight. It's like the person that was sewing them on was drunk or didn't care to make you a quality bag. Whoever they are needs to lose their job.

Other Thoughts: I'm going to contact the Seller to see if they are willing to send me a replacement. I'm also hoping that I bought a "lemon" for a bag and there are bags that are made of the quality you expect from a name as Dolica. I'm sure they would like to keep their reputation, so they'd do what they can to safeguard it.

4 out of 5 eggsLots of Room

Pros: This bag was a must since I was picking up a mew lens and my old bag was a small sling pack. It fits comfortably as a backpack. This bag has room for 4 lenses+Flash depending on there sizes. It also has room for my accessories like filters, charger, cables, remote, light meter etc. and it comes with a rain cover.

Cons: Wish the rain cover was contained in its own tuck away pouch. when I remove it after a shower or sprinkle I surely don't want to put it back in the bag with all my gear. I can foresee it being lost rather easily.

4 out of 5 eggsLots of room for Camera Lenses!!

Pros: . Can carry more lenses (4 lenses)
. Rain protection cover
. Room for a small thin laptop up to 14 inches
. Side zippers for easy access to camera or lenses.

Cons: . The zippers are not smooth. It does not have the high quality/pro zipper like the Tamrac backpacks. However, the Tamrac bags cost at least twenty to fifty percent more.

Other Thoughts: Over all, it is an average camera backpack.

5 out of 5 eggsExactly what I wanted

Pros: This bag is exactly what i was looking for. I do not like traditional camera bags, I think they are somewhat uncomfortable to carry for long times, and move around too much when you bend over. This bag looks to be made very well with lots of thought going into design.

With the design of the openings, you can remove one shoulder strap and swing the bag around in front of you, take camera out of the side flap, and whip the bag back around...very nice. It is padded nicely on the straps and the part that will rest against your back.

It comes w/an external strap that will make toting a tripod around easy. It has room for a DSLR w/lens attached, 4 lenses and a compartment on the top for any other accessories you may want to carry around. To top it off, it has a sleeve on the part that rests against your back that can hold a 16" laptop.

I was unsure of the size when I bought it but it is just the size of a normal backpack.

Cons: A tad expensive (although it is much cheaper here on newegg than other sites).

Other Thoughts: This is a great looking bag and I'm extremely happy with the exceeded my expectations. Time will tell how durable it is, but it appears to be made very well.
