JOBY Gorillapod Original Green/Black Flexible Camera Tripod

Pros: Small
Portable
Lightweight
Easy to attach the screw-in mount as it comes off the tripod

Cons: BREAKS! The joints simply can't take much abuse and considering the tripod is always demonstrated by curling it onto tree branches and fence posts it gives you the illusion that its more durable than it is. When the leg joints come loose its annoying but not tragic. When the neck piece comes loose it becomes very upsetting. Prepare for tons of crooked pictures!

Other Thoughts: I emailed Joby and told them of my complaint. They were nice enough to send me a new one for free, very kind of them. But ultimately the second one broke and I didn't feel that milking Joby for tripods was the best thing to do. Ultimately I just came to terms with the purchase of a fragile tripod.

Pros: Can be used in stange places to get awesome shots. Pretty straight forward. Just add imagination.

Cons: It is not a gorilla nor is it as strong as one. It wasn't made by gorillas either. I accept the fact that I may never understand the name.
