Cons: The mount is all molded plastic and the relatively soft base is augured (profanity to use the sc re wed word) onto a threaded post. This failed after a few hours of rigorous use and I had to repair it with a locknut and some JB weld. Other Thoughts: Do not buy this if you are looking for the 90 degree swivel mount. My unit came with a different mount that worked for me as a 70 degree +/- adjustment to do self portrait shots. but is does not look or act like the pictured 90 degree mount.
