5 out of 5 eggsGood enough for me

Pros: Works like its supposed to. Plug and play. Had no issues putting 2 windows servers on this with their own original IP's. Speeds are OK for not being gigabit

Cons: Slower transfer speeds when going to and from 2 computers on this, but its not that big of a difference. Speeds are fine otherwise.

Other Thoughts: If you can't use gigabit and or re-wire like me, this is good alternative.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks perfectly

Pros: Basic switch that works very well.

Cons: Only 10/100, instead of 10/100/1000.

Other Thoughts: Works well for my intended use, which is for connecting various additional PCs to my network that I am fixing, etc. as well as for my network printer that doesn't need an incredibly fast connection.

5 out of 5 eggsgood switch

Pros: Fast switch does what I need it to
Runs quiet and cool

Cons: Not a gigabit switch but that's in the description

Other Thoughts: If you need a switch for linking your home together or extending your home network, this is the switch for you.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Switch

Pros: This is a good reliable piece of equipment. No dropped connections.

Cons: LEDs turn off when device is in standby. Would be nice if they would turn amber since they are still connected. Or they could turn red to say there is a link but it isn't active.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat...while it lasted.

Pros: The price is reasonable, and it works right out of the box with no configuration or setup required.

Cons: Stopped working within 7 months. All the lights come on and stay on, but no connectivity. Outside of warranty, so Netgear offered an extended warranty option...at the low, low price of $79. No thanks, I'll just try a different brand when I buy the replacement.

Other Thoughts: Netgear's telephone tech support guy was friendly and knowledgeable, although his English was so heavily accented that I could barely understand him (you can probably guess the accent). If you buy this switch, I hope yours lasts longer than mine did.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Perfectly A++++

Pros: I bought 3 of these to help wire my whole house (1 internet capable TV, 2 Blue Ray Players, 2 Desktops, 1 Apple TV, 2 DirectTV Boxes and a couple odds and ends). Even though these cannot stack on-top of each other, I just used three ports on the back of my wireless router to hook them up.

I get my full speed of my charter internet from all of my devices. I am so glad I do not have to worry about losing gaming experience due to various wireless issues that can occurr. I have not had any trouble with them since I have bought them.

With the rebate that was offered with them and the sale at the time I got them for $11.99 in the end (read the cons about trouble I had with the rebate)

Cons: The only issue I faced was the rebates on these (well I should just say "rebate" since it was only one that gave me trouble...the other 2 came in perfectly fine). Netgear limits only 2 per household which I did not know when I sent my third one in. It is a small con, but still, that was $10 visa gift card I could use anywhere. (Don't know what others were saying about netgear only giving away coupons for rebates...they were giving away Visa Gift Cards)

Other Thoughts: Overall, I am very happy with these switches. They make my online experience on my various devices a delight, but I hate Netgear for not giving me my third rebate.
