1 out of 5 eggsKicks mee off my network

Pros: Does not have to be in your PC.

Cons: The wireless adapter keeps kicking me off the network after an hour of usage. My laptop and ipad both are still connected to the internet fine. Not sure if I'll ever consider wireless adapter via Ethernet.

5 out of 5 eggsWireless Joy in a Small Box

Pros: Bought this back in December to get a better signal for my blue ray player. My internet enters the house through a bedroom and the player is in my living room. I've since added a media pc and Pioneer receiver to it and have had no problems.

Cons: The only con I can think of is I didn't buy more of them when they were 29.99 each.

3 out of 5 eggsToo slow, too inconsistent

Pros: fairly easy to set up

Cons: With an 'N600' access point, the best performance I was able to get on either band was ~35 Mbps.

4 out of 5 eggsSeems to work ok for xbox live

Pros: works for xbox live

Cons: pain to get connected to router hard to tell if it is syncing with just the lights blinking. Have had a few disconnects but may have been my old router. So far have not noticed any disconnects.

Other Thoughts: If you cant run cables then buy it and it will do the job.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: Old Xbox 360 doesnt have wifi, nor does my receiver, so this little gadget saves me from having wires going all over my house

Cons: I haven't done any gaming marathons with it yet, so I will update if I have any issues down the road.

Other Thoughts: Got it on a shell shocker sale... definitely worth it!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat wireless and wired range extender

Pros: Easy to set up. Yo first connect a PC via ethernet cable to it to configure. Type in the address or the url and connect to the router. From that point on you configure it simply by following the direction on screen. Very easy. It actually found my SSID even though it was not broadcast. I disable SSID broadcast so I cannot use the WPS function.

Cons: Wish it would prompt for updating the firmware right away. It did that after I have configured my wireless network. After firmware upgrade I had to configure the wireless network again. Wish it would prompt me right away.

Other Thoughts: I have a wired Brother multifunction printer hooked up to one of the ports. It also boosted the link quality of my machine from 70% to nearly 100%. URL on my computer feels snappier. Get this thing!

Pros: Easy setup
Works fine all day long
I got my 2nd one at a dirt cheap price on New Egg

Cons: I needed this years ago and never knew it existed

Other Thoughts: I run my Roku, Dish Network DVR, Blu-Ray, LED TV off this. My sister uses her adapter for X-Box and computer in a Wi-Fi apartment building.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a charm

Pros: Great little device if you've got several devices with ethernet ports gathered in one place. Speeds are pretty quick (about as fast as a wireless card) and the range of this receiver is excellent. Very easy to set up.

Cons: None.
