Pros: Look nice and price, but that all about

Cons: Disconect everytime, it can't start even after reset. Need wait 5 min untill power fully off from device. Speed OK however suddenly drops to 2mbp. SSID sometimes disapear from WiFi screen and only way is going to restart router again and again.

Other Thoughts: Not stabe device, very disapointed with Linksys.

Pros: It's a router.

Cons: The speed drops as soon as it starts. The modem picks up the regular Internet speed, but as soon as it's connected to the router speed drops to like 1-2 Mbps. It's ridiculous. I hardly write bad reviews but I have to give this a thumbs down. Buy the older model, which has worked perfectly the past five years. "WRT54GL"

Other Thoughts: I have tried to update the firmware, fixed the settings, and still no hope. I would like to think I got a defective one, but still it's a pain. Try a different model as I suggested earlier.

Cons: Router is the Same BAD one that has Bugs all over the Place.

Other Thoughts: I have been talking back and forth with Cisco/Linksys Support. About the E1200. Well they have told me that the E1200-NP is the Same Router with all the BUGS. The "" NP "" only Stood for "" NEW PACKAGING "" So Don't Buy it until they get it all the Bugs Fixed on it. Read the Reviews on the other listing of the E1200. Then you will Understand. I have even written 3 Reviews about the Router. Each one has different things wrong with it. I am an Electronics Tech and Computer Tech. I have even given Cisco/Linksys Support Help with how to fix the Router and I just get the Run Around. One has even told me that I was the Problem and the Router was Working Perfectly. I was even told that My "" COMM PORT "" YES I said COMM PORT was set to Half Speed. Even when the Router Connects up with a Ethernet CAT5-E cable. So You be the Judge. But for me I will never buy another Linksys or E1200 router again.

Cons: Wireless a bit slow and firmware buggy with some devices

Other Thoughts: I bought this in a pinch and unfortunately I got a basic router and not much else. N mode is OK as long as you don't push it. 40Mhz mode will not get you faster WiFi only more disconnects. Firmware has not been upgraded since mid 2012. I actually get better stability by switching WiFi from mixed mode (G&N) to G only. But then that kinda defeats buying a N router doesn't it? I live in a neighborhood with lot's of 2.4Ghz routers. So single corruption is probably most of my issues. Trouble is finding devices that work in the new 5Ghz band is an issue. If you are stuck with most devices working only in 2.4Ghz. You bet is buy a cheap router like this. Turn off N mode and enjoy a more stable albeit slightly slower WiFi.
