5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!!

Pros: This thing is awesome!
I used to get 1-15 mbps with a consisten 3mpbs on my Dell wireless card in a room that's 20-30 ft away from the wireless box, which is in our neighbors apartment.

-I GET A CONSISTENT 36-48 MPBS WITH THIS ANTENNA!!
-I'm so happy and excited about it!

Cons: -Doesn't come with sticky rubber so the antenna can be anchored

5 out of 5 eggsAnother for me

Pros: Sane as other review.Just showing it is good enough to keep buying.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I'll keep recommending to my friends (actually all the computer illiterates who hear about me and want to learn 15 years of experience in 10 minutes) "friends".I know you know who I mean. You know them too. And I help them.

5 out of 5 eggsRosewill comes through as usual

Pros: Dependable connections with never a dropped connection because of adapter anyway.I've bought 2 of these and referred it to 12 others and all think it's great.I'm 400 feet,2 cinder block and 2 steel walls away and getting 70-117Mbs depending how I have the antennas.Even through our terrible Florida tropical storms.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Antennas are large which is what I needed/wanted.I have them plugged directly into mobo usb ports and it causes no interference at all to other connections. It stands out 2 1/2 inch which is plenty of room for other cables.Comes with cradle and about 3 feet usb extension if needed. Can be placed by window or wherever signal strongest Very versatile/flexible.Wouldn't suggest for laptop straight plug-in, it would get in way to point I would break it! With cradle O.K. if you use laptop in one spot. It's design is for specific purpose of picking up weak or long range signal so giving it "cons" for size is invalid. Rosewill has become or always was,a top shelf manufacturer.I find myself with 0 reservations to buy any of their products.

2 out of 5 eggsToo Fragile

Pros: Fantastic Range and Speed

Cons: USB connector broke after only light usage. Was able to get it to connect if I braced it for a while, then that stopped working too.S tuck with a defective connector.

5 out of 5 eggsA Good Bet If You Win

Pros: works

Cons: but can get expensive

Other Thoughts: .
Before anything else, this thing works fine. My years-old Toshiba laptop suddenly detected 7 networks where once there were 2.

Same laptop, I got 4 bars out of 5 at a paced-off 70 feet going through 4 residential building walls, 5 bars at 50 feet and 2 walls.

Installation was smooth. I downloaded the latest driver ZIP file from Rosewill, installed only the drivers, and that was petty much that.

Like others I had to click to let Windows do the managing, but the dialog boxes for this popped up automatically. Things seem well thought out by somebody.

All good. BUT the first antenna I received didn't work. During the usual re-plug, re-start, re-install I found that the connecting cable was too hot to touch! A short inside the antenna. Happily, my motherboard withstood the load, but this was scary.

So send it back. But now, even though I printed out the Newegg return label as instructed, UPS still wanted 12 bucks to do the shipping.

Send it in, or forget the whole thing? Sent it. So I wound up paying 32 bucks for this 20 dollar antenna. Not what you could call a really great deal.

So like the man says, you pays yo' money and you takes yo' choice. I'm sure faulty units are few and far between, but if you happen to receive one this winds up being a pretty expensive piece of hardware. Your bet.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quick and easy installation, stable connection, very long range (I picked up some networks that are a few blocks away), and the antennas are really convenient.

Cons: The only real con is that it constantly shows 5/5 bars on my network connection, when it's really only at 3.

Other Thoughts: Despite the one con, I'm really satisfied with it. It outperforms any other usb adapter I've used thus far, and it cost a fraction of what I would usually spend. I live in a separate garage from the house, which is about 200 feet away, with several concrete walls between me and the router. I'm happy with the constant 15-20 mbps connection I've been getting with this, I was suffering with about 2 mbps prior to buying this.

3 out of 5 eggsRosewill N250UBE

Pros: It wrap to nice box. There are 2 external 5dBi. Pick up more signal than the tiny USB wifi.

Cons: The upload is higher than the download huh? I think I got a defect one. So, I return this one.
