1 out of 5 eggsdead after 1st use

Pros: -Great speed
-Easy to install

Cons: -Died after first use
-Bulky, takes up too much room on the usb

Other Thoughts: Great product with speed and installation. Unfortunately it died after first use. I simple disconnected it and went back an hour later to reconnected it for use and it made a negative connection sound upon connection. I went to examine the device and noticed a sound coming from the usb part, sounded like a piece of hardware broke off and made the device unusable. Shame

5 out of 5 eggsHandy device

Pros: Easy to set up and can be used on any machine in my house. This nice as it means I can change the set-up in my house as it is often needed with a growing family. Much more convenient than an internally installed card. Range is as good as it would need to be and bandwidth is great.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: For those who complained that its too big and bulky and ended up breaking it, blame yourselves you clumsey oafs. You knew what you were buying. Take care of your things and they will take care of you :)

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very fast and reliable internet adapter!

Cons: It's HUGE! Make sure that you have plenty of room for it! I had to move all of my USB devices around until I could find a place to fit it.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Buy

Pros: Good connectivity from it runs on average between 86-300mbps. Haven't had any issues connecting to a couple of routers or my phones mobile hot spot. I have two of them now and both function perfectly with the drivers found on the manufacturers website.

Cons: Bit flimsy, but it sits in an old wireless keyboard USB extension cable on the desk out of harms way.

4 out of 5 eggsFunctional but flimsy and drivers limit it

Pros: Not a bad design considering it is USB with two antennas.

Cons: Flimsy. As others have reported it is easy to break the antenna mounts off. I suggest mounting it to a piece of plastic using nylon ties to immobilize the adapter and antennas then use a USB extension cable to connect it.

The RealTek RTL8192CU drivers are rather poor. On Ubuntu Linux 12.04 (Precise Pangolin), it could see my 802.11g router but no other networks. An old Belkin and a Comp USA 802.11g adapters both found several other networks in the area. It also refuses to connect again if disconnected. Installing the updated driver from RealTek's site didn't fix these problems.

3 out of 5 eggsCan't always work with just one antenna

Pros: Powerful connection to the router.
Hasn't dropped the connection at all until a few days after one of the antennas broke off.
USB makes it work with just about anything.
Reported 144-300MBPS and never below, although my optimum only gives me 20 so I couldn't really test the full 300 to check the overhead.

Cons: It's a bit flimsy, I bumped it into my desk hitting one of the antennas and it bent at a really unhealthy angle so I opened up the device and saw that the antenna wasn't even connected anymore. It worked for about half a week longer but then it couldn't see the router even if it was right on top of it. I think since it uses MIMO, it was trying to go through the missing antenna and I just couldn't get it to go through the other one.

As stated before, it's pretty loose i the usb port.

Other Thoughts: I'd recommend this product, it does get the job done well, but it's really fragile so be VERY careful with it and it should last a long time with a great internet connection.

5 out of 5 eggsWell Worth It

Pros: Strong signal, no dropping. Software works well. Works with OSX, nothing to complain about. I'm fine with the size of the antennas.
