3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Strong and consistent signal so far. Streams to TV just fine.

Cons: My laptop and this router do not get along. Internet is fine to all other devices but the moment I connect my laptop to wifi, signal goes down across all devices. I have to reset router and switch to browsing on my phone if I want to be streaming Netflix and be on internet. Laptop is a Lenovo Yoga 2 with Windows 8.1.

Pros: It works for the most part.

Cons: I bought this router thinking it could be upgraded to dd-wrt. It turns out no, it can't.

5 out of 5 eggsEasy Set up, Love IT

Pros: It was an easy set up, plug and insert disc and follow through.

Cons: Wish Newegg would have carried the TL-WR941ND, which is the same model except it has the detachable antennas.

5 out of 5 eggsWireless Router

Pros: I only use the WIFI and attached it to my local network with the WIFI as a separate network to keep the 2 networks private. Range it good, I get wifi all around the yard and in every room of the house. For the money it was a great buy, runs 24 hours a day since installed.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Inexpensive, "easy" to set up, decent range (I get signal in all parts of my house including all parts of my basement)

Cons: It was a real pain to get all devices working at the same time.

Other Thoughts: The only problem that I have had with this router is that I had to play with the settings quite a bit in order to get our 4 laptops, 1 desktop, 4 Kindles, and 5 phones all to play nice with the network. I got the settings right now and everything is connecting flawlessly.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat router for the price.

Pros: - Great wireless speeds
- Easy setup

Cons: - Firmware update doesn't work with chromecast

Other Thoughts: Replaced a Linksys E1200. This router was cheap, seems very reliable, and has almost doubled my wireless speeds from my old router. The three antennas keep a robust signal in my apartment building with little to no interference.

One egg off since the newest firmware doesn't work with chromecast, but keep 3.14.5 and you'll be fine.
