1 out of 5 eggsDon't think you will be different

Pros: Great concept - If you get it to work you will be pleased.
WiFi at least worked from one room.
When it works the image is good.

Cons: Poor instructions
Incompatibility with other devices.

Other Thoughts: I read all the bad reviews and figured that the "normal person" may have trouble but I will not. I don't give up, but I did. Not able to get it working without resetting all devices and then it is only about 20% success rate. You get less than you pay for.

2 out of 5 eggsWireless Card is weak and Unreliable

Pros: Worked great from my bedroom to screened in porch about 20 feet apart.

Cons: Lasted only a few months and the wireless quit working. It has a wireless card on the inside. You can see it through the top plastic grill.

Other Thoughts: I would like to find a company that has a like setup for sell and with better reliability. So sad this didn't last. Too expensive to repurchase for a few more months. Would have been less expensive to just get another charter box.

1 out of 5 eggsRange is lacking

Pros: Can have cable on separate TV without paying for another cable box

Cons: Tried to use from our TV room to the master bedroom TV but only got a good enough signal for sound, no picture. It is only a distance of ~20ft and there are 2 non-insulated walls between that span. Also, had a lot of problems getting them connected. Took several minutes to connect.

3 out of 5 eggsworked partially

Pros: Great when it works.

Cons: I owned and troubleshot this for over a month with newegg and Actiontect. After hours of phone calls countless firmware attempts, this just would not work properly with my Fios equipment. Worked great with my PC, that why I gave the 3 eggs.

4 out of 5 eggsNot perfect, but a great product!

Pros: Great picture. I live in a 2-story home with a game room above the garage. We didn't get cable for our home. My PC is in the game room, however the main TV and living room is on the opposite end of our home on the first floor for streaming purposes. The signal travels through the floor and two walls without much issue. First setup I needed to adjust the transmitter and receiver for a maxed out signal. Now it works great with HD picture and crisp sound. My PC is controlled from a distance using splashtop touchpad on my phone over the wifi signal. Occasionally the picture skips and goes black for a moment before popping back in, but this is a rare occurrence. Overall, this has been a great addition to my home.

Cons: Occasional brief loss of picture and sound. Very infrequent, but it happens. I'm guessing this has to do with the distance I am sending the signal along with the amount of walls it is traveling through.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this product to friends. For most purposes, it works great. And I'm guessing it would be better at shorter range. However I did not take advantage of any of the IR capabilities for remote controls, as this was purchased for my PC. So I cannot attest to the functionality of the remote extender.

5 out of 5 eggsworked as advertised

Pros: Broadcasts HD 1080i TV just like it said it would. Simple to set up, it was basically plug in the wiring and turn the units on. Worked right out of the box without any issues. The built in IR works great as well without causing any issues I have for another IR blaster on the same satellite box. Best way I could see of getting HD off a satellite receiver to a TV upstairs.

Cons: So far, none. It just works as advertised. I wish they would sell the receiver separately at a decent price, I'd like to put another one in for another TV upstairs. Even though the receiver is almost directly above the transmitter, probably only 9 feet through the floor between them, the signal is only 4 or 5 out of 8, but that doesn't seem to matter the picture is far better than SD through the coax. Moving either of the units can improve the signal, test it a bit.

Other Thoughts: Should have wired the house for HDMI but too late for that now.

1 out of 5 eggsa disappointing item

Pros: worked sometimes, somewhat

Cons: erratic and annoying...failed to hold channels or respond to channel change. Picture unclear - when it could be had. Very dissimilar to mfgr promo.
mfgr tech tries to help but then says to call your cable company (DTV) for support

Other Thoughts: a chancey purchase...be prepared to lose at least 3 hrs screwing around trying to make it work well.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: You're welcome. For what you ask? Saving you $200! Don't ever buy this piece of junk.

Cons: Its complete junk. Bought it to stream computer to TV, not only does it flat out not work, but it it hijacks the only usable HDMi port from the computer.

I bought a different product that broadcasted via a USb stick to a receiver it worked fine for 6 months then just broke. I'd rather buy a product I knew was only going to last 6 months, that didn't hijack entire computer just to broadcast the image, oh ... and the kicker. ... actually worked.

Other Thoughts: Please, please, please do your future self a favor and do not order this. Your future self thanks you already bro.

1 out of 5 eggsIf at 1st you don't succeed ...

Pros: Nice design, apparently simple setup ...

Cons: DOA. Reviewed the instructions, watched the video on the OEMs website. Receiver wireless and sync lights were dead out of the box. Transmitter showed lit and functioning - could not get the receiver to do anything as documented.

Other Thoughts: Its electronics - some are DOA; just hate it when it happens to me. Reached out to Newegg - they RMA'd for 2day and next day for new. They take care of you - which between their service and the buyer reviews is why I choose them. Will revise my review when the new unit arrives and I can actually test this.
