5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Tablet

Pros: - High Video Quality
- Great Audio Board
- Android > Apple
- Great Build
- Aluminum Casing
- High performance, Great for Multi-Tasking
- Made by Asus
- Great price for high performance tablet

Cons: Glass screen = fragile screen. Do not drop on hard floor. Thick carpeting is 95% guaranteed not to cause the glass cover to crack.
Downloading pictures via /4chan/ causes them to numerously re-download.
Don't bend the charger.
Nothing else really.

Other Thoughts: Also due to carelessness, it did break but that's under my faulty. This tablet is extremely well made just for casual use, the video quality is outstanding for a tablet, the resolution is 720p HD and I actually do intend on repurchasing this beauty (after doing a my desktop build.) If I have the money, I will be repurchasing this fantastic tablet. A few things I recommend for this tablet is an equalizer from the android market, and if you're an audiophile like me, purchase your music. That's the full benefit of getting the high quality. An equalizer is for watching videos with headphones or earphones. Either way, I recommend an equalizer at all costs.

5 out of 5 eggsThis is fun to show off

Pros: This is a fun tablet. whole family uses it. durable. great battery life. I think I am sold on android products. I love the wifi button on the keyboard. I definantly recommend adding the keyboard.

Cons: I think asus should consider just shipping this always with the keyboard.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat tablet.

Pros: Its got great responsiveness, came loaded with the 4.10 and then had another upgrade shortly later.
It does come with apps, but I prefer finding new ones.
The tablet seems not too heavy, good battery life (which is closer to 6 hrs if you're running WiFi and max brightness screen while doing web browsing).
Does support flash though I had some annoyance at getting it installed (claimed to not support, then few days later was able to get installed).
All the apps that I've used on my Android phone (running 2.2) do work.
Browser does allow for creating bookmarks to the desktop (home screen), so you can launch web sites from an icon.
Sound level and quality seem good, though I've only tested it on speech type of audio, not music.
Charge time is reasonably fast, a few hours (not timed it to the minute, but 4 hours of overnight charging seems good).

Cons: Probably the worst most buggy crash prone browser that I've seen ever built. Go find another one to use when possible.
I've not found an option to go into standby when the battery gets low, it actually shuts down which closes all browsers and therefore you lose what windows you've got up. Probably more of an OS con than hardware.
I can't get the included mail program to function for POP3 mail. Its just an icon to look like it can do something when really it can't.
Did I mention how horrible the built in browser is?
The screen gets fingerprints very easily, but a regular cloth can wipe them without trouble (or the front of your shirt, just rub it across your chest).
Most of its built in software could hardly be worse, especially the web browser. The text program (their Notepad) can't handle pasting in too many characters (Jodi text editor is what I've been using, free). The apps seem more entertainment than practical or ones people would use.
Nintendo DSi XL camera does better col

Other Thoughts: Considering ordering from NewEgg or other popular store. My 11 yrs & over $15K experience with NewEgg was the deciding factor. What a mistake! So much for my history of 99% of orders going out next day. NewEgg waits until 3rd day to even charge my preferred account, & that was with rush processing & next day delivery request. When I contacted customer service in chat, they could hardly have been more rude, less helpful, & more "didn't read/copy paste/next person please". Then they promised to escalate it & ensure the charge was going through & the order would get processed. Apparently that was a way of telling me to get off & quit bothering them by trying to be a customer. Person on the phone was polite but still acted like "yeah thats what you get for ordering here". The written address? NEVER HEARD BACK! NewEgg COMPLETELY ignored my complaint, did not refund me for charging me next day shipping to get something 6 days later! EPIC FAIL NEWEGG! I've learned my lesson on where to shop!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Tablet

Pros: Purchased two of these for my wife and I, no disappointment at all. Great battery life, the display is crystal clear, sound via headphones is great, plays games & movies seamlessly.

Cons: ICS has issues with some apps that I've become used to on my phone, but this isn't the tablet's fault. I would have liked to have a charging cable that is perhaps 6'' longer, but these are just nitpicks. It is a great product.

Other Thoughts: For the price, this has to be one of the best tablets to be had. Asus has shown that they will push updates ASAP on top of building a solid product.
You can't go wrong with this item.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty cool paperweight if you ask me

Pros: It just works as advertised

Cons: I was shocked to hear of all the problems on the posts herein, which I did not see until after I ordered it. I was kinda bummed out when I could not fix anything BECAUSE IT WAS NOT BROKEN

Other Thoughts: As I said It is a great peperweight(when its charging) until you pick it up to use it

5 out of 5 eggsNice unit

Pros: Battery life
Ice Cream Android 4.0 support
Must have the keyboard, gives 16+ hrs life
WiFi works great
Worth the coin

Cons: not all the android apps work
some apps flip screen vertically so that w/ keyboard attached is not so easy to use

Other Thoughts: Adding the keyboard does double the wieght, but added a propective element, the unit is solid and well built, with the keyboard on feels like surrounded w/ armor

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Device

Pros: This device is one of the best for the price. Since I'm desperate to avoid Apple, this was a welcome alternative. Good graphics (if that's any consideration), long battery life (especially with the keyboard dock) and android support.

Cons: Initially, I had major issues with a reboot loop. The tablet would get stuck on the reboot screen, forcing me to restart it at least twice a day.

Other Thoughts: Their last firmware update has fixed the reboot problem for me. However, not everyone that I'm aware of is fixed. There's a chance that it might happen, but I don't think it's enough to avoid this tablet.

5 out of 5 eggsStellar Device - Chose 101 over the 201 and 300...

Pros: All the usuals.
The Tegra2 is PLENTY of power. I saw no stutters or image glitches in 4 hours of using it last night.
Android 4 upgrade pushed while I explored. 10-15 minutes to install, with one additional update coming after ICS completes.
I see no real need for Tegra3 if you are not gaming. This Tegra2 is more than sufficient.
1280 x 800 at 10" is really crisp and downright pretty on all three.
Build is thicker than the 201 or 300, and allows for a reasonable grip and more comfortable feel. I just don't understand why everything has to keep getting slimmer and slimmer!? Do you REALLY want one as thin as a slice of cheese?! This 101 is a really nice balance.
2 STEREO SPEAKERS.
To whoever said the 201 or the 300 have 2 stereo speakers, they are WRONG. They do NOT. This TF101 has 2 stereo speakers that seem to be at the edge underneath the glass bottom quadrant left and right side as you view it landscape. PERFECT!
(If you turn it to portrait, they will be on one side or the

Cons: The keyboard mating mechanism and procedure is more of a 6 on a scale of 10. I tried a 201 last week and it was kind of a 7-8 on a scale of 10 experience. It is NOT a deal-breaker by any means, and feels like a natural solid laptop when docked. It's just not gonna read your mind and magically dock and undock. I think this is a good thing and I am just whining.
The speakers are as loud as a iPad2. Compared side by side in a quiet room last night. Both devices at full volume. The iPad has better fidelity, for certain. But the TF101 has true stereo that FACES you. At 3/4 volume it sounds just fantastic and beats the iPad2. At full volume, the iPad2 has clearer fidelity, but again, not a deal breaker.
Only available in a "boring" brownish-bronze.
Plastic back isn't as sleek as the metal ones, but there is no interference with wireless, it's a more comfortable grip, takes less damage from dings, has a more even temperature feel to it. I think I like the plastic better.
No USB on the t

Other Thoughts: I shopped for HOURS on this and had all 3 Transformer models side-by-side and this was the one I PREFERRED. I had $1000 to spend, so money was NOT an issue and this was still the better experience.
HOWEVER.
If you do not care about the sound coming from the right side of your lap instead of from the image in front of you... the 300 is a better device. The 201 is just TOO THIN. It's thinner than an iPad2 or "3". it's annoying to hold something that thin.
The dock keyboard is really solid. Really nice on all three models.
The screen and the touch function just respond like liquid. If you saw stutter or less than perfect on earlier Android tablets, worry no longer. These things are immaculate, image-wise, and motion-wise.
You can definitely buy the TF101, the TF201, and the TF300T, SIGHT-UNSEEN, with CONFIDENCE. NOTHING WILL LET YOU DOWN. Just look up the features you are interested in and buy confidently.

This I type, so that others may buy with a peaceful smile! Best wishes and

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Asus is an excellent brand. I had this for less than a week and its a very good product. 16GB is more than enough storage space for a tablet like this, most the apps are very small. If more space is needed for movies, music, etc. you can buy an expansion micro SD card. The gorilla glass makes it tough and scratch resistant. There are an incredible amount of apps in the market, and most of them are free. The battery lasts about 10 hours of constant use per charge. Possibly longer depending on your settings and what you are doing. There is only 1GB of memory in these tablets, but I am surprised at how well it utilizes the memory. It runs pretty fast for anything you do.

Cons: Does not come with a stylus, case, or the docking station. Would be nice if Asus had a package that came with these for a cheaper price than buying everything separate.

Other Thoughts: I chose this version instead of the prime, because I read a lot of reviews saying that the new prime had weak wifi and gps signals due to its casing. This version I have not had trouble with at all, so I am happy I bought the older model.

I didn't purchase from Newegg because I wanted it instantly when I had the money and no waiting for shipping. But I kind of wish I did buy from newegg because it is 40 dollars cheaper.
