4 out of 5 eggsDevice works as stated

Pros: Device works just as described. USB 3.0 connections are fast and video quality output from the device is good. I am using this device with a Lenovo t530 and I would purchase this again if needed.

Cons: No driver cd came with this device, and the device did not work correctly until drivers were found. Finding drivers for this device was difficult. Lenovo's site was very vague when trying to search for the correct driver and was only found after testing multiple packages.

Other Thoughts: As stated above I would buy this device again for other laptops in my business.

5 out of 5 eggsDisplayLink works great

Pros: I use this with 4 Asus PA248Q's and a Lenovo Thinkpad Twist with Windows 8.1 Pro. Two monitors are connected to the DisplayPort and HDMI connectors on the laptop. The other two are connected to this device. It works are intended. Indistinguishable from the real thing as far as still images go, but unsuitable for video. This product uses a DisplayLink chip. I have used DisplayLink products for years and they work great. The only thing to know is to get the driver directly from DisplayLink's web page and don't bother with the Lenovo CD that comes in the box. Either keep that as a souvenir or throw it away. Just do yourself a favor and don't install it.

Cons: 2 DVI ports instead of 2 DisplayPort or HDMI ports.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Dock

Pros: This is my 5th or 6th unit I purchased. We use it in an office environment with different laptops. It's as easy as plug and play. Works with Win 7 and Win8/8.1 just fine. All the setups have dual monitors. We even have a Fujitsu Scanner plugged in to the doc with external HDD's and it picks them up super fast.

Cons: Display link software is sometimes sketchy.

Other Thoughts: Great product. Would recommend it to any one that is trying to run dual monitors from their laptop.

2 out of 5 eggsNot a great experience

Pros: Port replicator as opposed to just a USB hub. Great for hooking up everything BUT dual displays using DVI

Cons: CRAZY lag when using it to project onto 2 1080p displays using DVI. I'm using a Lenovo Yoga i7-3537U, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD and before using this port replicator I had only one external monitor hooked up (so laptop display plus 1080p external monitor using HDMI) and it was as fast as fast can be. The downside of this setup was too much desk clutter due to the fact that I was having to use a USB hub for pretty much everything else (wired ethernet, wireless headset, wireless keyboard/mouse, jump drive). I really wanted this to work so that I could have two full size displays and eliminate the mess.

Other Thoughts: Installation was easy, and it DOES work, just with some caveats.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great with X1

Pros: Dual DVI monitor, plus gigabit LAN through single USB 3 port.

Cons: occasional lag on mouse

Other Thoughts: I had a Lenovo USB 2 port replicator with a single video out. I upgraded to this model to get dual DVI. I use this with my Lenovo X1 (pre-carbon) to connect to dual HANNS-G 27 inch 1920x1200 monitors, gigabit LAN, keyboard/mouse, scanner, printer, and plotter at my office. Amazingly everything runs through a single USB-3 connection to the X1. Video quality is excellent with no noticeable lag. Occasionally something gets out of sync. Turning the port replicator off and on again, or unplugging and replugging the USB-3 connection solves the problem. I like this so much that I bought a second one to dock the X1 at home.

2 out of 5 eggsslow

Pros: single USB 3.0 connection to laptop; no issues when connecting & disconnecting with laptop running. nice to have digital monitor connection, headphone jack, etc.

Cons: very slow. copying files from USB3.0 to USB3.0 external drives, both connected to the front of the port replicator shows 22MB/s transfer rate. that is beyond HORRIBLE.
