Pros: Clear image, no software issues, recognized my TV. I plugged it in and it simply worked. All I had to do was set the output to my TV speakers and arrange the monitors in my display settings and that was it. As a windows user recently switching to a mac, this is fantastic! The audio switches between the laptop speakers and my display relatively seamlessly (after a few seconds of handshaking) as well.
Cons: It will be interesting to see how the cable wears.
Other Thoughts: This adapter is a great value. Keep in mind for the audio your macbook must be one of the newer models (newer than April '10, I think).
