1 out of 5 eggsNOT worth it

Pros: Looks nice

Cons: There is no change in the cooling of the processor, it seems to run hotter then the stock air cooler. All in all I will not purchase another product from this company.

Manufacturer Response:

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Please contact our customer service dept so that we can replace that unit for you because this cooler should be outperforming your stock air cooler very easily.

5 out of 5 eggsCan't Complain

Pros: Dropped the temp of my i5 750 from 68c to 61c degrees while running prime 95 (in-place large FFTs. 5 hour test). I must note that I also put my computer in a new case at the same time: COOLER MASTER HAF 912 RC-912-KKN1 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119233 . Awesome case!

I don't find the fans noisy at all. My GTX 460 is the only noise I hear from my case now. Though I'm coming from a case that had 6 fans in it. With the Thermaltake WATER2.0 and the new case, I only have 3 fans- front case and the 2 that go on the radiator (inside case - rear).

Like others have said- finger tighten the bolts. I had no problems.

I wiped off the included thermal paste and applied Arctic Silver.

Cons: None really. The included instructions aren't the best but easy enough to figure out. After you gigure out the retaining clip inserts... install the top clip from the bottom- aligning grooves- then give it a slight turn before adding bottom clip- instructions make it look like top clip installs from top...

Other Thoughts: i5 750 OC'd to 3.68ghz @ 1.232v. - Thanks to Thermaltake WATER2.0, I think I will try a few more mhz with no worries.

I was going to buy a new cpu and mobo but decided on cooling solutions for my current rig. I'm very happy I did.

1 out of 5 eggsAll Wet....

Pros: None as I was unable to install it.

Cons: was delivered today with a few other items. Opened it up about 20 minutes ago and everything inside was wet. To make the story short, the pump was not sealed and was leaking coolant. It is now boxed back up and ready to send back.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: I'm only using one fan, and my CPU doesn't go past 55C under Full load and long durations.

Easy to install, will take under 10 minutes.

Cons: If you do use the double fan setup it takes up a ton of space, i'd say have a Full Tower.

4 out of 5 eggsCan't beat performance-for-price raito

Pros: -Beats air cooling dramatically in sustained cooling situations. During encoding or heavy gaming, my AMD Phenom 960T (x6, OCd) would always eventually exceed 70C. Water cooling can handle high heat loads for extended periods of time. This has allowed me to overclock even further because it can keep up with the higher heat production.
-The fans are pretty powerful and effective, but noisy (see cons). -Can't complain about the stock thermal paste, either.
-Find it on sale with a rebate and it's comparable in price to high-end air cooling.

Cons: -More challenging to install (but not impossible). You could potentially figure it out from the near-wordless directions, but watching a good video will save you a lot of time.
-The fans are loud at full power (2000+ RPM), but tolerable at 50% or less. Obviously Thermaltake valued temperature over noise, but I think that's better for mass-market anyway.
-Biggest con for me: The fans support PWM, but mine made an audible clicking noise at < 50% power. The clicking went away when I switched from PWM to voltage control on my motherboard. My replacement Noctua NF-F12 fans make no additional noise in PWM mode at any level. I route my PWM signal to my case fan controller, so this was important to me.

Other Thoughts: -If you're installing on an AMD motherboard, try and re-use the metal back plate you already have--it's sturdier. Just remove the plastic heatsink mounts on the front.
-I switched from the stock fans to Noctua NF-F12's. They are MUCH quieter, but you do lose a little on the temperature side. I saw a change of about +9 degrees in my max temperature (58 to 67C) using Prime95 on my heavily OC'd CPU.
-Thermaltake rebate was accepted ~2 weeks after submission; another 8-10 weeks for processing.

5 out of 5 eggsA BEAST..

Pros: This water coller is a beast. I have a fx 6300 and have it over clocked to 4.2 with a stock cooler and when i would convert video files and my cpu was at full load my temps would go to around 68c. with the Thermaltake Water 2.0 at full load my cpu gets no hotter then 29c.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGood Value

Pros: Quiet, cool, and easy to install.

Cons: It will not bring me breakfast in bead.

Other Thoughts: Nice little unit that has been reliable, so far, and quiet. Did a good bit of research (hardware secrets, etc all) and bench marks are all good. Same price as good air cooling, but better then air performance. If you can find it at fifty to sub fifty with rebate, then play on with confidence. IMO, not worth upgrading to Pro or above, to much money for not enough gain. If you want to boost performance and have some more money to spend, pick up a couple 120mm Noctua fans to add to the radiator. You will have the smaller form factor and an even quieter machine.

5 out of 5 eggsFrigidaire

Pros: In A/C room with Water cooler 15 minutes of idle.
With i5 - 3570K @ Stock 3.4Ghz

Core #0.....25C

Core #1.....25C

Core #2.....26C

Core #3.....22C

Overclocked it to 4.6Ghz with a offset of 0.0050mv and was on the average 33-35C ranged.

Cons: Instructions were not clear had to use and an online video to figure installation out.

Other Thoughts: Been using water cooling for about a decade and cant seem to choose anyone else but thermaltake.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic for the Price

Pros: -Two fans
-Excellent temperature control. Only dropped idle temperature from 35C to 29C but under full load, it peaks at only 39C whereas with air cooling, it would reach 65C.
-Fans are barely audible, even under load.
-DOES fit FM2 sockets.
-Water tubing is nice and thick and the nozzles on the pump can rotate for some better angles in the case.

Cons: -Some lack of information in specs.
-Wish there was some way to route the hosing through the hosing ports in my case to mount the radiator outside
-Top of radiator sticks up past the fans and doesn't allow me to place a 200mm fan in the roof of my case.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for an FM2 socket and was in the process of installing it and found out the screws weren't long enough. I just about had a fit. I looked on the box and on Newegg and neither said that it worked with FM2 sockets so I thought I would have to return. That was until I realized that I had used the short screws instead of the long ones. I put the long ones in and it fit perfect.
So yes, it will fit FM2 even though it doesn't mention it.
