5 out of 5 eggsBest compound on the market.

Pros: Great temps, non-conductive, non-capacitive.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

This review is from: ARCTIC MX-2 (4g) Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive

Pros: Works great. I switched because it is electrically non-conductive while transferring heat incredible well. As well as the other Arctic formulas that I relied on up to now. It was very easy to spread a thin layer on the processor and my temps went to less that half of what I was getting with the stock heat sinks on both an AMD X4 860k using a Deepcool Gamma 400 upgrade and on an Intel i5 k-version using a Zalman all copper ultra-cool upgrade.

Cons: Expect to use about 2g per application. I bought the 4g tube based on another review that I think was really for the larger size, not the 4g product. In upgrading two PCs from stock heat sinks to high quality ones it took about 3.5g

Other Thoughts: Great product. I wish I'd bought the 15g size.

5 out of 5 eggsTrusted paste from a trusted name

This review is from: ARCTIC MX-2 (4g) Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive

Pros: It works as advertised

Cons: It doesn't taste all that great on toast

Other Thoughts: Its been a good solid paste for me and I see no need to switch to the more expensive conductive pastes.

1 out of 5 eggsSilly Putty Compound!

This review is from: ARCTIC MX-2 (4g) Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive

Pros: NONE, NONE, AND MORE NONE!!!

Cons: Compound would hardly squeeze out of the tube, had the consistency of silly putty so I couldn't even spread it out...just rolled little gobs when I tried. Kind of had the texture of almost dried plastic or something.

Other Thoughts: Not worth sending back so 7 bucks wasted. Lucky I still had a different brand of compound, from another build, to fall back on! This junk must have been sitting on a shelf in the warehouse for years???

5 out of 5 eggsWorks, 8 year guarantee is nice to see.

This review is from: ARCTIC MX-2 (4g) Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive

Pros: Dropped temps of my CPU from 33C to 28C at idle and from 55C to 46C at load.

My Hyper 212 Evo has been even more silent than normal, I actually had to check and make sure I plugged my CPU fan back in it was THAT quiet.

I really like the application meter on the side that lets you know exactly how much to put on per application.

Cons: A little pricey when not purchased on sale.

Other Thoughts: I was able to OC my i5 6600k an extra .2Ghz and it didnt budge the load temps.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

This review is from: ARCTIC MX-2 (4g) Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive

Pros: Does what it's supposed to do, doesn't cost a lot.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I needed to put some new paste on my CPU after I swapped fans, as well my niece was having heat issues with her DELL. After I cleaned her CPU up I used this on her system because enough in the tube for a few processors, and her system hasn't had any issues since and it's been a year.
