4 out of 5 eggsYou're getting what you pay for, this is a good Mic for $9.

Pros: Inexpensive, adjustable, no USB, power, or software required. Plug it into the pink jack and it works. Would buy again.

Cons: The stand is cheap plastic, and the sound quality is not that good.

Other Thoughts: You're getting what you pay for here. If you need a simple Mic on your desk for others to hear your voice for chat/games/etc, this fits the bill. If you need to record anything important or are expecting the quality of a prosumer or professional Mic, don't buy this.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh 6/10

Pros: Cheap
Comes with a stand that the mic can be removed from and slightly adjusted.

Cons: Low Quality
Has a background sound that is very reminiscent of a swarm of enraged bees.

Other Thoughts: Overall this mic is not that bad. If you can over look the fact that people will probably think you are a bee keeper its mostly fine. In addition, the quality isn't that low and is at worst low and at best average. But the fact that the stand is removable and can be adjusted is very nice so this mic is around a 6/10. 10/10 being no complaints and perfect in every meaning of the word and 1/10 being so bad that it doesn't perform its intended function and is barely useful as a paper weight.

1 out of 5 eggsIt does not work

Pros: Cannot use it

Cons: Windows 7 does not recognize the device. It comes with just a jack who goes directly into pink hole.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Mic for the Price

Pros: Cheap
Works Well
Looks Fine
Fully adjustable height and angle

Cons: Feels Cheap

Other Thoughts: I've been using this desktop mic for over a year of gaming and have no complaints. The plastic base felt cheap so I added some small felt feet to the bottom to give it a more substantial feel, improve the sound it makes against my desk and maybe even improve sound quality by increased isolation. Overall a great purchase for when I was tight on money. I'm not entirely sure how I sound on the other end of this mic but I've never received a complaint, so it can't be too bad!

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Worst Mic I have ever owned. Will not pick up your voice from 6 inches away. You literally need to yell or eat this thing in order to use it.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy.

Wish I could get a refund but the shipping would cost as much as the product.

4 out of 5 eggsCyber Acoustics Microphone

Pros: -It sounds quite good, my friends can hear me clearly

-It uses 3.5mm

Cons: -There is a very, VERY quiet static if the volume is up too high, and ANY other noise will make it go away.

-The plastic is cheap, ut that's to be expected. The head of the mic broke off, so I did a quick tape job and it still works fine.

Other Thoughts: Get this if you just want to talk to friends.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing for Ventrillo / Gaming

Pros: I've had this thing for almost 6 years now; and it's amazing. I'm not doing anything professional with it (lol who would do that with a $8 mic?) I only use it for Vent, Teamspeak, and any in-game VOIP. For that purpose, it's the best investment I've ever made. My friends with their expensive headsets are always jealous of how I sound in-game. =)

Cons: Broke the plastic by just trying to adjust it one day, a long time ago. Not a huge problem; I've had scotch tape on it now for about 3 years and it still works like a champ.

Other Thoughts: For $8 how could you possibly go wrong? If you are breaking the thing beyond functionality you are a complete moron. If you break the plastic, NBD, the mic and wire should still function just fine.

1 out of 5 eggsToys

Pros: Not yet.

Cons: Picking up voice poorly. Cheap produce quality, paper making feeling.

Other Thoughts: If I had ever touched this thing before I made the order, I would like to pay it for $4.99.
