Pros: Reasonable sound quality, easy to use, very small and light, fairly good volume

Cons: Not the best sound quality, doesn't recognize playlists by folder when adding them from the computer

Other Thoughts: It's pretty good for it's price. It's not the best sound quality but I didn't expect that with a little 30 dollar MP3 player. It didn't recognize playlists just by adding folders to the existing playlists folder, but it still picked up all the songs when I put them there. The auto-sorting isn't bad, and it's easy to get to the songs I want. Sound quality isn't great, but it's surprisingly good for such a cheap player.

Overall it does everything I wanted it to. As long as it lasts for a while I'll be happy with the purchase.

Pros: I recommend jumping in this over the nano.
It's small. Light and built in clip great for running.
Plays radio AM/FM and single drag and drop style fits my ...media methods.... Easier.

Pros: It's small, lightweight, and clips easily onto the edge of my pocket or shorts. Unlike some similarly-sized small MP3 players that have no display, this one does, and it works well for selecting what you want to listen to and seeing what's playing. I toss it in my bag with my clothes doing anything to keep it safe when I shove the bag under seats, etc, and it has never broken. The battery life has never been a problem. I use it when running and it has survived about 400 miles so far without problem.

Cons: The program/window that opens up when you connect it to the computer (Windows 7) doesn't seem to work correctly. It always reports 0% battery life and you can't close the window (if you do it just opens up again). However, it's easy to ignore. And if you just open it up as a folder, it's easy to drag MP3 files to the folder. So this doesn't bother me much at all. Certainly far outweighed by the pros.

Other Thoughts: If you want an MP3 player with bluetooth, wifi, the ability to sync with other devices (e.g., running monitors, timers, GPS), etc, then this might not be for you. But if you just want a basic MP3 player to use when running that you can easily clip to shorts instead of having to strap it to your arm (and one that actually has a display), this one works well. And it's cheaper than most, so if something happens to it, you're not out as much money.

Pros: universal mini USB charger, no special charger to have to carry around. Easy to use and one of the few audible ready devices on the market.
Cheap but work great, I use the sleep timer a lot and it is a great feature.

Cons: none really except usually these little sandisk mp3s are only good for about a year, so get a 3 year extended warrenty if you can.

Other Thoughts: I like the clip, great for using at the gym

Pros: Great sound. FLAC support. Low impedance. Rockbox compatible. Expandable by micro sd.

Cons: The clip is non-removable. Unfortunately you will have to break it if you want it off. I personally don't mind it. Refreshing the libraries is a tad slow, but it is only a big deal if you are in a hurry and have over 16GB of music (2:30 mins max).

Other Thoughts: This is the best portable player I have owned for under $200. I couldn't afford to replace my Walkman Z series so I will be using this as a temporary player as it is what I owned prior to the Sony. I popped a 32GB micro sdhc in and it now has enough space to hold around 1500 FLAC or 9000 MP3.

Pros: NONE!!!!

Cons: It lasted one month and died.

Pros: MP3 Player is excellent, easy to use, good sounds and battery life

Cons: Nothing negative about the player however the enclosed $10 emusic card is a scam. You need to provide a credit card to sign up to type the service and collect the $10 credit. I cancelled the same day I signed up however 10 days later they still charge my credit card and have been givin the run around every since.

Other Thoughts: I am surprised that SanDisk would supply $10 emusic cards to setup consumers to be scammed by emusic.

Pros: Price - I got a good deal from Newegg, however you get what you pay for.

Cons: Copying MP3's to the internal memory caused the songs to chirp and skip. I reformatted it and installed the latest firmware to no avail. I spent a 1/2 on the line with Sansa tech support and afterwards, I was told to RMA it. I did however copy the same songs to a microDS card and put that into the unit and they worked just fine. So I have about 3.8GB of internal memory that's not useable for MP3s.

Other Thoughts: If you plan on RMA'ing anything keep the packaging, otherwise you'll have to beatup Newegg for a replacement.
