4 out of 5 eggsgood battery

Pros: ive owned this for about 2 years now. and it still holds a good charge and hold that charge well even after long times of leaving it sit. .

Cons: the one i got doesn't charge my phone or tablet very fast but it keeps my stuff powered when i am not near an outlet

Other Thoughts: did get it from newegg themselves when they sold it for about $12.00 when it was on sale and for that cost its hard to beat and i havent need to replace it upgrade yet

1 out of 5 eggspoor quality, poor customer service

Pros: Cheap, but the product quality is very poor.

Cons: The "IN" interface broke down after only several use one and a half months later. The product quality is terrible. I contacted Targus for a replacement and they asked me to pay the shipping of returning the defective product. But I do not think I am responsible for the shipping since it is the quality issue. Do not waste money on the cheap but not working product. Will not buy anything from Targus.

5 out of 5 eggsCharges everything, powered by everything

Pros: The easiest way to sum up the pros of this battery "bank" is that its lightweight, sleek, and compatible. It's small enough that I can fit it in my pocket alongside my phone (a Galaxy S4) and not feel like its going to burst. It also lacks any sharp edges, including on the single button found on the unit, making it that much more comfortable. It uses a simple blue LED indicator system, but unlike some other units these aren't blindingly bright, yet are still easy to read.

For something so small, I figured it might have problems charging fully, but that's not the case. This little battery pack will take my S4 from completely drained to full in about an hour and a half, and will use only 2/3rds of its own charge to do so. That means if I go a particularly long time without getting back to an outlet of some kind, I can bring my phone back up to about 50% one more time before it's kaput.

The feature I like most about this battery pack though is that it works with nearly anything, not just in terms of what it will charge but also what it can use for power. As long as it's an output voltage around 5v, the battery pack will charge, even if its some really low amperage like 200mA. I once spent a few days out of town charging my S4 using the battery pack like a sort of power filter, plugging it into an Apple charger that just didn't have enough power for the S4, but was just fine for slowly charging the battery pack. That alone was worth the money I spent on it.

Cons: The only things I can really fault in this are truly minor, and minimal. First, it's kind of hard to tell when this thing is outputting power to the USB port or not if you have it plugged in. When unplugged it will light up its LEDs when active, but when charging the LEDs stay on all the time. Of course, hitting the button always ensures the USB port is active, so it's hardly a real big problem. Still, worth mentioning.

The only other fault I could find was not with the unit itself, but with the USB micro cable it came with. The micro connector isn't exactly loose in most phones, but it's not snug either, making it easy to accidentally unseat it or pull it out entirely. The cable is also a bit rigid, which only worsens the issue. It makes it less than ideal if you wanted to, say, leave the battery pack in your pocket connected to your phone, since it's quite likely you'll disconnect it by accident. Of course, it's not like a decent USB micro cable is very expensive.

Other Thoughts: There are bigger and more powerful units out there, but they're usually quite heavy and meant for powering more than one device at a time. For a single unit charger this is nearly perfect, especially since it fits in a pocket so well. If you're looking for something to keep your phone alive through a full day of heavy use, this will probably work. If your friends will want to charge too, maybe you should look for something else.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: This is a very well made compact battery that is simple to operate.

Cons: It would be nice if it had a pouch to keep the cable in.

Other Thoughts: I really like the fact it will provide enough current to charge most devices.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty awesome!

Pros: -Light weight and portable
-Fast charging with 2.1A output
-4 Level indicator LED
-Good capacity

Cons: -It would be cool if it had an LED flashlight built in it but not a deal breaker for me.
-No other that I can think of

Other Thoughts: Original price is $59.99 I think but I got it during flash sale for $10 so total deal!

1 out of 5 eggsBlew up my USB Port

Pros: low price when on sale

Cons: almost bricked my $400 smart phone, buy using this to charge up the battery. The usb port will no longer accept a charge, luckily I can still use conductive charging on my nexus, otherwise I'd have a brick. So maybe it wasn't such a bargain.

Other Thoughts: not impressed
