Features

Features: The Nav-Mat is the most convenient mounting accessory for your smartphone or GPS today.

Featuring a high tech anti-skid material, it provides a solid mounting base that enables you to convert your windshield mounted device into a dash mounted device.

The Nav-Mat's bean bag like body conforms to the contours of your dashboard, allowing it to work on uneven or textured surfaces while the anti-skid underside keeps the device from sliding.

Designed to work with the factory windshield mount sold with most smartphone or GPS units, the Nav-Mat requires no tools for installation and can easily be moved from vehicle to vehicle, or put out of sight when exiting the vehicle.

Also works well with other Bracketron windshield mounts for mounting other devices such as satellite radio and MP3 players.

May not be suitable for use with some GPS models using excessively short factory windshield mounts. Including, but not limited to, TomTom Go 720/730 and Go 920/920T as well as models with 4.3" screens using the EasyPort mounting system, as well as Garmin nuvi 700 series - 750, nuvi 755T, nuvi 760, nuvi 760, nuvi 765T, nuvi 770, nuvi 770, nuvi 775T, nuvi 780, nuvi 785T and nuvi 5000.

Cons: The GPS attaches by means of a suction device. This is not a weakness of this device but rather the nature of the GPS itself. I prefer dashboard mounts like the Garmin which do not depend on suction, but again this is not the fault of this unit. It well made and should work with any model car. Other Thoughts: In spite of my prejudice against suction mounts I must say I have had no problem with this one. The GPS has remained solidly in place. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. You can remove it at any time, all the time. Cons: A bit expensive. Cons: None Other Thoughts: When not using I take off the dash, keeping the mount attached to the portable and set on the rear floor out of sight. Also the plastic used to mount the suction cup is extremely good, it wont come off even if you shake the hell out of it. It eliminates the annoying ring stains on your windshield. The suction sucks to this mount, not on my windshield. California Highway Patrol will ticket if its suctioned to the windshield. Cons: Have none.
