4 out of 5 eggsAwesome sounding headbuds

Pros: Quality build
Wires to strong and can withstand some tough situations.
The case is great for storage.
It won't beat a pair of $200 ear buds, but for the price it's definitely worth it.

Cons: The only gripe I have is the engineering of the earbuds. The design is a little weird and some times uncomfortable after wearing it for long periods of time. Minus 1 star for this because it's very important that I can wear earbuds for long periods of time.

Other Thoughts: I don't just use this ear buds for gaming but for music as well and I have to admit that it's pretty good, especially considering the price.

It's solid built and music comes out great.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for PC gaming

Pros: I got these to replace my turtle beach X11s, and I'm glad I did, they sound amazing. People said that it doesn't have good bass, but I found them to have a great bass. And because they're in ear I can't really hear anyone and my loud computer. I use them for PC gaming, and the mic works great. Overall a great value for when I bough them at $10. Would highly recommend .

Cons: I took off one egg because I had to buy a mobile headset to PC cord to use the mic on my computer. And the way they wrapped the cord kind of messed up the sleeving, but I don't find it that much of a bug deal.

3 out of 5 eggsTurtle Beach earbuds

Pros: Excellent deal at ten bucks.
Fit my ears nicely, looks cool until the mod below.
Like the design to route the cord over the ears, keeps them from coming off at the slightest tug.
Braided covering on cord feels nice, sturdy. Construction looks reasonably durable.

Cons: Unexpectedly poor bass response.

I hear a lot of static if I touch the wire near the ear, particularly on the right side... but see below.

Other Thoughts: The static I hear is certainly mechanical rather than electrical. It is damped somewhat on the left side by the microphone piece. I discovered I could practically eliminate the static by wrapping a bit of cloth around the cord just below my earlobe, and securing it in place with a bit of wire. This effectively damps the noise, and the bit of added weight helps it feel secure on my ear; but it makes me look even more like a geek than the tape on my eyeglasses.

I will be experimenting with alternatives. Advice from others is welcome.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Turtle Beach ear buds for 10 bucks. I got them as an egg buster, they are great.

Cons: No cons yet, I haven't noticed them go on mute like the other person said. I have used them for the past week and a half for about 2 hours each day.
Well, maybe one con, they feel like they go in upside down, I know some are designed that way so the wire helps keep them in.

Other Thoughts: For 30 bucks it would have been an okay...
For 10 bucks they rock. I wish i bought 4 sets.

3 out of 5 eggsNot meant for music

Pros: *Clear voice and audio on calls

Cons: *Not much bass as this is a headset meant for communication within gaming
*Sound gets annoyingly "scratchy" at high volumes
*Rather small earbuds
*Occasionally mutes for no reason

Other Thoughts: These were like 70 dollar earbuds on sale for 10 and TurtleBeach doesn't usually disappoint in terms of their higher end headsets so I thought I'd give them a try. Off the bat I noticed the audio was clear, with music I could hear all the instruments, but there was no "kick/bass".

While Turtlebeach advertises that these are good for music as well I have to say first and foremost Turtlebeach is a gaming communication company so gaming communication comes first. So these are obviously tuned more towards communicating (in which you don't need bass) rather than listening to music. So if I were using these on a PSP they would be fine as I'd be able to hear the game sounds and my friends talking equally well, but for music it falls flat.
