Pros: Everything is pretty much a pro. Graphics are amazing, story is intense, and multi-player is addictive.

Cons: A major flaw is the game's multiplayer game joins; sometimes you join a game that's already in progress with one team losing badly. Other cons include the omission of individual slayer and king of the hill.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I think that Halo Reach was an incredible addition to the franchise until I played Halo 4. This game is everything you expect it to be and more.

Pros: The campaign was awesome. I've played it through four times now and am very satisfied with what 343i has done. The online plays different than past Halos. People will say it's like Call of Duty but I disagree. It stills feels like Halo, just with added features like sprint, load outs, armor abilities, and ordnance drops. The Spartan customization is awesome and I like that the game gets new content almost every week via Spartan Ops.

Cons: The ranking system is absolute garbage. I remember back in Halo 2 when you actually had to be good to keep a high rank (and ranks were based on individuals playlists). Now it's just whoever plays the most and drinks the most Mountain Dew. People can't accept punishment anymore in games which is just sad. I personally find no joy in leveling up which is actually kind of ruining mulitplayer for me. I also don't like that you pretty much have to buy the Map Pass to get new maps and keep multiplayer fun. Shame on 343i for following that trend.

Other Thoughts: Overall, the game is great. I still hate the ranking system and I still hate that you have to buy maps as soon as the game comes out. 343i showed that they can handle Halo responsibly and I am anxious to continue the story line in the Halos to come.

Other Thoughts: I unwrapped this game with some heavy anticipation. I cannot express the state of depression I went into when the campaign would not start and kept kicking me back to the main menu. This was as a satisfying experience as the one I had with Windows 8. Microsoft is really heading downhill. Halo 4 is the first game I have bought, new, that did not work. WTH. Microsoft does this 343 industries, Microsoft studios junk and games don't work out of the box. I have owned all of the Halo games and none were defective, prior to the Halo 4 game I bought. To say the least, I am fracking MAD!

Pros: Story line and multiplayer

Cons: took about two weeks to arrive by far the longest wait ive ever had from newegg

Pros: * Great music
* For a ~7 year old console limited to DirectX 9 technology, great graphics (therefore, great optimization by the developers)
* Chief & Cortana's relationship development is well-done. You can genuinely feel the emotion between the two, particularly at the end of the game.

Cons: * Mediocre graphics
* Lots of plot holes that are not filled in well so the player will in many cases not really know what's going on without some research online.
* Limited to XBOX 360 -- this game would look absolutely beautiful on a DX11 gaming-rig PC, but will have to stay limited to mediocre DX9 graphics on a 7-year old inferior console. Such a shame.
* Forced to play with an XBOX controller. This is a first-person shooter. It is not meant for a console controller.

Other Thoughts: I've always loved the Halo Universe. Hopefully at some point the games will be properly playable on technologically superior PC hardware (currently only Halo 1 & 2 are available on PC). Until then, I'll keep renting the games for a few bucks and borrowing an XBOX from somebody just to keep up with the storyline.

Pros: - Hands down some of the best graphics I've seen this generation. It almost seems 'next-gen' worthy considering the age of the 360.
- Awesome online play!
- Fast servers when connecting online
- Spec Ops are really fun weekly mini-stories that will keep you coming back for more

Cons: - None really, just haven't played the story yet due to my trying to finish Halo: CE and Halo 3 story lines before I start Halo 4.

Other Thoughts: - This is the most fun I've had with a game in the Halo series since Halo 2 came out when I was in high school years ago.
- Online is a blast!

Pros: Not usually a first person shooter gamer. However, I love the simplicity of the game in comparison to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. In halo 4 it is more competitive and right out of the box as a level 1 I was able to compete pretty competitively. Graphics are very good. Just began the campaign and enjoyed the difficulty as well as the longevity of the missions.

Cons: None. I got it while it was $33. Giant steal!

Pros: Gameplay is amazing, 343 did an amazing job creating the basis for a new trilogy, keeping the storyline universe in tact, introducing a new race, and making a compelling storyline. Multiplayer pros are the new maps, a few new gameplay types. The ever expanding episodic content was a great touch.

Cons: Multiplayer - I for one hated the COD style loadouts, in game rewards for streaks, etc. I bought Halo to play Halo, not COD. 343 would be wise to make a few extra multiplayer gameplay styles that get rid of loadouts, the bonus (run fast, jet pack, shield, camo [which is useless], etc.) and let players play a more classic style.
