Pros: It looks cool and Wire Controllers are a great fallback should something happen to a wireless.

Cons: It won't last very long. my controller only last three months before it started giving me response issues. By month six, the controller wouldn't respond to any of my inputs.

Other Thoughts: Personally, I wouldn't get this controller. It's just not worth the frustration.

Pros: It's fairly ergonomic.
Buttons are responsive
Controller is quite nice for anything not requiring precision aiming

Cons: This is a MadCatz controller. I think this item has no reviews because everyone here is smart enough to know what that means.

The 'Start' and 'Back' buttons are in the worst place ever. You get used to it, but as soon as you use a regular 360 controller, you forget they're way up high.
The triggers are actually rather pointy. I stepped on it in the middle of the night in the dark on a bathroom trip, and they nearly broke the skin.
The sticks... oi the sticks...
This controller is absolutely awful if you are trying to play anything first-person that doesn't auto-aim for you. Anything requiring aiming using either stick suddenly controls terrible.
I don't know what MadCatz does to their products, but all the flaws with controllers are always the same. You cannot aim to save your life (often literally) with these controllers.
And of course, the D-Pad is still terrible. That's a problem that has yet to be fixed in any 360 controller I've used.

Other Thoughts: I didn't buy this controller from Newegg. Actually, I didn't buy it at all, it was a Christmas present.

Now all that negative talk out of the way, if all you're doing is playing emulators on PC, or just playing platformers, or others (PSO plays pretty well), then you might be satisfied by this.
I would recommend it, but only if you're not a "hardcore" gamer and tend to play things that aren't plagued by ten-year-olds screaming obscenities into the mic all the time.
