The light is red when charging and turns green when fully charged. It lets me play my game as the controller is charging, but when unplugged hold a very long charge. I've literally had no problems with it, and its about the same price as a pack of batteries. Just you won't have to re-buy them. The cable is also very long, I can play from my couch no problem. Cons: (None) Other Thoughts: All in all, it does it's job and works very well. The last review might have just received a broken one. Mine worked perfectly. I bought 2 other batteries for my other controllers and use the same cord to charge them. No more batteries! 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? The USB cable is probably too long to send anything through it! didn't work.
