Pros: ? adults can play 18" closer

Cons: To many distortions in the lenses for the Kinect to make out children like the 9 and 12 year old i bought the Zoom for.

Pros: snug fit and does help

Cons: the difference that is makes is not worth the price of the device.

Pros: Works ok with some games

Cons: Never recognizes the floor.. unless its right near the floor

Other Thoughts: It's not about wasting your money.. just don't waste your time..

Pros: Makes the Kinect look a bit niftier

Cons: Makes the Kinect prettty unuseable. It advertises that you can play in a smaller space, but thats not true at all. You can't play in any space with this thing on. Hand gesture recognition is thrown out the window and becomes irradic. The sensor gets confused and makes for an un-pleasant experience.

Other Thoughts: Glad I returned it.

Pros: It looks nice.

Cons: It was a complete waste of money, does not work for me... it makes the kinect not be able to recognize you and it wont pick up your movement like it should.
I tried it in all kinds of lighting and same problem occurred.

Other Thoughts: fixed the problem by mounting it on the wall angled downward without the zoom and it works perfect.

Pros: looks kinda cool!

Cons: This is Useless it makes it really hard for the kinect to recognize you. I ended up fixing the living room space problem by mounting the kinect high on the wall angled downward and it works perfect now.

Other Thoughts: No returns, so you are stuck with it after purchase!

Heads up!

Pros: As advertised, it allows you to play closer to the tv.

Cons: You can't play as close as advertised. I was able to stand about 1 ft closer to the tv than without. Some of your motions are jerky/cut off. In Dance Central, the swipe to select songs is cut short. I had to stand a little sideways to get it to select anything. Otherwise the game sees the start of a swipe but never completes it so I cannot select anything.

Other Thoughts: Overall, if I really need that extra foot it might be worth it. I only tested it on Dance Central since this is the main game I play. It was bad on the menu system (see cons) but did fine during gameplay. Try it out or find reviews for the specific games you play. It probably does well on some and horrible on others. I bought and returned it to another store. I tried it out while the sensor was below the tv at about 3 ft off the ground and above, 5 ft off the ground. I restarted the Xbox and recalibrated at both heights to keep it as fair as possible. I didn't notice a big difference at either height for the game.

Pros: Works a bit, does cut down the distance needed to use Kinect

Cons: Motions become very jerky on screen. Makes the games unplayable.

Cons: I guess you can say it works like its "supposed" to, except the erratic hand gestures like the previous guy said, isnt able to solve without completely changing the initial way the kinect is played. So in that, everything about this is a con,

Other Thoughts: If you want more room honesly, get a bigger area to play in, I had to, this item is about as useless as putting a race 350 small block on a bicycle, just a thought, dont buy it.

Pros: Easy assembly, works as advertised. Can play 2 in space normally for 1, does not seem to decrease the playability in any Kinect games I have tried to date (4).

Cons: Didn't have this problem before but the hand commands now seem erratic, this is rectified by sticking your hand out in front of your body and waving as opposed to keeping it at same distance from your body....annoying but solvable. Instrux are easy and if you have any mechanical/engineering dexterity completely unneeded!

Other Thoughts: All in all the visibility is the same, I do however need to use additional lighting, I chalked this up to the fact that the lenses on the Zoom are tinted as well. Using a 40W fluorescent spotlight on the play area did nicely....since this is not mentioned in any lit, I thought I better bring this up....minus 1 egg for this.
