Toy Box Mode:

Unleash your imagination in this new open world and play with Andy's toys your way. The more you use your imagination and create your own story, the more you get rewarded.

Missions: Once a mission is complete, you'll earn various rewards including gold, and new customizations.

New Toys: Play your way, complete missions, earn tons of points and buy new toys!

Customization: Add new buildings, then change how they look! New paint options, textures, accessories, landscaping, and tons of other fun modifications make your game unique to you.

Toy Story 3
The creators of the beloved Toy Story films re-open the toy box and bring movie goers back to the delightful world of our favorite gang of toy characters in Toy Story 3. As Andy prepares to depart for college, Buzz, Woody and the rest of his loyal toys are troubled about their uncertain future.

Directed by Lee Unkrich, Toy Story 3 is a comical new adventure in Disney Digital 3D™ that lands the toys in a room full of untamed tots who can't wait to get their sticky little fingers on these new toys. It's pandemonium as they try to stay together, ensuring no toy gets left behind.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Kids Game

Pros: The story line and graphics are great and my 6 year old won't stop hounding me to play it. I enjoy playing two players with my 6yo, but have difficulty with half screen motion.

Cons: Split screen switches from vertical to horizontal at different points throughout two player mode.

Other Thoughts: I can see how this might not be good for very young children, but it is perfect for my 6yo and enjoyable for adults. I will probably buy a second game to play two players between my two Xbox consoles.

2 out of 5 eggsToo difficult for kids

Pros: Fantastic graphics and an overall exciting adventure.

Cons: Too difficult for children. In all of its advertisements, this game claims to have a sandbox mode in which kids can just round around and have a good time without having to worry about completing missions, being killed, etc. but you can't get to the sandbox mode until you've completed the first mission - and the first mission is REALLY HARD. You're trying to ride a horse through this valley while having to jump over fences all while the mountains are coming down on both sides of you. Each time you hit the fence or get hit by one of the falling rocks, you loose some life. If you're life bar ends, you die and have to start that portion of the game over. That's just one of the many parts of the first mission that were way too hard for children.

Other Thoughts: I don't think there should be a life bar. Hitting the fence on the horse should just be comical and being hit by the rocks should just slow you down. When Woody falls into the hot coals of one of the train's cars, Woody dies and my three year old starts crying. Death? Restart the mission? Come on, we're not playing Halo here, it's Toy Story 3 for crying out loud. The game should have been much easier for children to play. And my six year old? She got frustrated and threw the controller. Unless my wife or I play this game, it'll never come out of the box again. Sigh.
