5 out of 5 eggsExcellent phone

Pros: Phone is excellent. Pure android without any carrier software or branding.

Cons: Newegg price is almost double of what Google is selling. The Nexus 5 is coming out soon and the price should be adjusted.

5 out of 5 eggsNot a 3G phone

Pros: First in line for Android updates direct from Google.
No bloatware or carrier software
Hotspot for your Wifi devices doesn't need to be activated by your carrier (I'm on T-Mo, YMMV)
Very solid feeling phone, both sides are glass.
Doesn't flex like a el cheapo feeling plastic phone
Has an LTE receiver even though it is not sold or billed as having LTE (really only works on T-Mo US)

Cons: No expansion slot for additional storage capacity.
Glass isn't hard to scratch (I still prefer my phone with no screen protector and only a official bumper for protection - since the phone is so sexy)

Other Thoughts: This phone is the best phone I've owned thus far. I also own an S3 (for work) and have had an HTC One X, HTC Glacier and a BLU Studio 5.3. I also run Android on my KF. This phone just works without having to muddle with anything. Now, for a surprise. Since this phone is based on the LG Optimus G it actually does have a 4G (LTE) radio by way of 4 Band AWS LTE (T-Mobile US, check Wikipedia for more carriers)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat phone but Newegg orice

Pros: Fast. Great screen. No bloatware. Fast OS updates

Cons: No external storage, Glass back

Other Thoughts: Why would anyone buy this from Newegg when it is far cheaper direct from Google?

4 out of 5 eggsNewegg Price

Pros: great

Cons: no micro sd

Other Thoughts: people knock Neweggs price being $100 more. With Google Play you will also pay state tax (24.50 in Ga) and shipping which review say isnt cheap. not to mention several said Google was worst store they had ever dealt with and took long time for shipping.

4 out of 5 eggsSilent, Fast and Deadly like a Ninja!

Pros: Great specs, especially for the price. I'd recommend ordering it directly from Google because it's $100 cheaper through them. Everything I do on this phone runs at an amazing speed, even downloading through wifi. I ran a speed test on this phone and my laptop and the Nexus 4 is faster! The quad core and 2 GB of RAM make this phone great for multitasking and running any android game on the market. The last phone I had was the original Droid Incredible, which was over 2 years old, so this phone was a huge upgrade. The OS is very intuitive, easy to use and comes with a lot of added features. This phone is also very efficient. I've noticed that it has a much better battery life than my old phone, even with the much more powerful processor. I would listen to music on my Nexus 4 while my old Incredible (which isn't so incredible anymore) was on standby and the battery would drain much faster on the HTC Incredible! Maybe the Nexus 4 also has a bigger battery too, but everything runs smooth and efficient on it. I love this phone!

Cons: The biggest con would be that the ringtone and call volume are very quiet, so I wouldn't recommend this phone to the hard of hearing. For some reason every other sound this phone makes is louder, be it notifications, music or alarms (which should be louder anyway). This isn't a deal breaker as I would like my ringtone to be quiet in most situations, but you can't talk in a noisy area on this phone without having to plug your other ear or put on earphones/headset. Another issue is that there's no micro SD slot to expand your memory and it comes with about 12.09 GB of available data storage because the formatting and OS take up space. Also, there is no 4G, but it does have HSDPA and works great on the T-Mobile network. Both of these were minor issues since I'm not a media hoarder when it comes to phones and I always use wifi when I can.

Other Thoughts: Buy off the Google store, it's $100 cheaper there.

5 out of 5 eggsGET IN HERE!! ORDER IT NOW!!

Pros: contract free! 41 mbps radio that has been proven to work with LTE-> 4.2.2 update removes feature to enable radio in LTE. gorilla glass II is amazing- no scratches since purchase during initial release. The performance is amazing and the screen is great, games aps fly and look great at 60hz which is def a noticeable difference, has miracast, stock droid with updates directly from google

Cons: no micro sd card, no OTG cable (progress has been made to activate host mode manually) glass backing dangerous because easily slips and drops, battery sucks- bad- and can't be replaced- unable to open. Camera does ok in daylight but is pretty bad otherwise. JellyBean doesn't allow Facebook to sync- had to use a step around ap and still don't have all my numbers assiciated with facebook

Other Thoughts: I honestly think is a great buy. I purchased from google direct when it first came out and only bought the 8 gig, but it was still worth it. I paid to break my contract with AT-T and switched to a $30 unlimited t'mobile contract that only has 100 minutes airtime included- really ONLY- still saves a bundle!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Easily the best phone money can buy. Always responsive and smooth, high quality display and construction, and good battery life. You'll be paying at least twice as much for something comparable, like the S3, S4, Note II, Razr HD, HTC One, LG Optimus, etc.

Cons: Cheaper on the official Google Play Store.

Other Thoughts: Responding to the first reviewer: If you want to get the most out of the display, install the ParanoidAndroid ROM or another kernel that allows calibration and look up some people's settings, you can get OLED-level color and contrast without the burn-in or pentile. As for the audio quality, in addition to the above, look for a kernel that supports speaker gain adjustment, you can turn down the gain and increase the volume to get better sound. The Franco, Faux, and Motley kernels from xda-developers will do the trick. The battery can be replaced, but you'll have to undo some screws and tape.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome handset!

Pros: Totally awesome. Freedom from carrier lock-in. Straight Talk is your friend. But, why would I buy at this high price when it is available directly from the Google Play store for $349.00?

Cons: Newegg's price.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best android phone I've ever owned.

Pros: Display: I thought I would miss my old super amoled display, but the IPS display on this unit is very attractive. It doesn't disappoint.

Speed: It's an over-used term, but buttery smooth performance is probably the best description. As you navigate and open and close apps, there is never any stutter and the animations remain fluid.

OS: It came with Jelly Bean right out of the box. As with any Nexus device, it should receive updates first.

Phone: Call quality is great. Voices are crystal clear.

Build: Very solid. But the reflective back is both a pro and a con. It looks beautiful, but it's glass and be easily scratched.

Cons: So much glass! It is a beautiful phone, but you must be careful. A good protective case is a must.

Most people may not hear this, but the audio quality is a slight step down from my previous phone (Galaxy S2). I'm using Klipsch Image X10 earphones which are well above standard quality, so that may be the only reason I'm noticing. Don't get me wrong, it still sounds great. It's just a mild downgrade.

You cannot replace the battery (not a deal breaker, but it's a con).

There is no SD card slot, so you cannot expand on local storage.

Other Thoughts: If you don't have a micro sim, you will need one. I went to T-Mobile, and they gave me one for free.
