Pros: It takes my ATT 3GS from one bar to 4-5 bars in my home.

Cons: Both the antenna cord and USB power cable are a bit short; I had to add a USB hub up on my desk so I can actually sit up and talk with the phone in the cradle.

I feel like I'm talking on an old school Brick when it's in the cradle, but at least I can make calls now...

Other Thoughts: Knocking off one egg for the short cables.

ATT gets no eggs for inadequate coverage in the Dallas metro area...

Pros: increased signal

Cons: need bluetooth when driving

Other Thoughts: We live in a remote area that often receives low signal quality but this device suited our needs, recommended.

Pros: Went from 1 bar in most places to 4 or 5. Works great for Phone or Data usage. Works well in mountainous regions.

Cons: none to speak of.

-No special connector needed for the phone.
-Use micro USB power source (similar to many phones, cameras, etc)

Cons: The only down sides are you have to be connected to a power source and the antenna cord. The Antenna cord is fairly long. However, for an office setting or the car that is a non issue.

Other Thoughts: This thing is awesome. I was looking for a cheaper mobile way to improve my cell signal. I barely got a signal in my office or at home despite having a window with in my office. If I got the call connected, it would drop. I got many laughs trying to use the phone with my face next to the window or sprinting outside trying not to lose the signal.
I now get no worse than 2 bars and as much as 4. I haven’t dropped a call since. I put the antenna next to the window and my phone in the Cradle and I am ready to go. You don’t have to plug your phone into the device. It just has to be in the Cradle. This is completely worth the money.

Pros: I bought this for work. My HTC was lucky to get 1 bar and often lost data all together. I brought this in and I'm getting 2 (of 4) solid bars and occasionally 3 bars.

Cons: I would have liked the antenna connector to have been a right angle connector but I can get that later.

Other Thoughts: The adjustable holders make it possible to also charge the phone while its in the holder, a pretty good design.

Pros: Boosts signal, including data speeds! I was averaging around .35Mbps now ill be at an average of .93Mbps and that is using the antenna inside. I went from 0 to (rare) 2 bars all the way up to a steady 4 (5 if im lucky). Looks like it would fit ANY phone. No wires connected to the phone, it just sits there. I used two different arms to hold it in place just the right tightness (not so loose it will fall out at any time, and not so tight I have to fight it).

Cons: The connection of the cradle to the mounting braket is a weak design when mounting horizontal. So if using in your car, you should really make sure its secure, or use tape/glue. Mounting vertical would be no problem. That is the only bad part. I think if I really force the connection, it would stay but, its just not ideal.

Other Thoughts: Bracket/Mounting connection is what loss this product 1 egg. Otherwise it would be a 5 egg.

Pros: Learning how the New Egg RMA process works.

Cons: DOA.

Once I received the product, I realized that it is not truly "universal", as it only works with AT&T GSM phones for 3G.

If the replacement works at all, I'll be limited to Edge on my T-Mobile Nexus One. This is due to it boosting the AT&T 3G 800MHz & 1900MHz bands, where T-Mobile 3G uses 900MHz, 1700MHz and 2100MHz. According to their tech support, they also don't support the 4G frequencies used by Sprint, etc.

Other Thoughts: I wish New Egg would just let me return it, since it will be useless to me after the RMA. I should have ordered it from a different retailer that would allow a return.

Pros: This thing just works! I went to the deer camp this weekend where we have no signal at all - not even while standing outside. Put my iphone along with testing other hunters phones and I went from NO SERVICE to 4 bars with internet (3G). Its amazing

Cons: NEXTEL phone didn't work with it.

Other Thoughts: This is an update of my 1st review. Just wanted to give you an indication of the drastic difference this device makes (from NO SERVICE to 4 bars)

Pros: Boosts signal dramatically. I have service now in places I normally don't have service. This product really works

Cons: I installed this in my Ford Focus and don't really have a good place to mount it. Also, I tried running the antenna cable from the back of the car (via the hatchback) and the cable is a little short. Have to leave it betweent the seats - no good way to run the cable

Other Thoughts: I had a problem with the antenna that came with my unit. I called tech support, and the first time I was given the run-around. I emailed tech support (wasn't happy with the answer) and a product manager contacted me went beyond my expectations to make sure I was satified. He took care of everything. Good to know there is a company actually backing this product.

Unit is powered by a standard USB cable so it can easily be used just about anywhere with a standard USB to mini-usb cable. It comes with a car charger to mini-usb for powering the device. It also has a min-usb plug on the side to power other devices (pass-thru). I just need to find a mini-usb to iphone cable now.

All in all - highly recommend!. I'm using an iphone (3GS) in an OtterBox Defender and this device works great! The cradle comes with different sizes and adjustments so it will practically fit any phone.

Pros: Went from roaming to 2-3 bars (-100dB to -84dB) when I fist plugged it in. Only have to set the phone in the cradle for a drastic increase in signal. Antenna cord is pretty long and magnet is strong.

Cons: Mounting bracket is not very tall, kinda awkward if not mounting vertically. No wall adapter. No short usb cord for accessory power to charge phone.

Other Thoughts: I am not using as directed because I work in a concrete building with no windows, I still get a decent increase in signal with just having the antenna on some metal. I look forward to using it this fall when hunting to see how good it works in an outdoor situation. I may even have to get a 2nd one to keep in my car full time.
