5 out of 5 eggsIt works.

Pros: Worked great holding my phone while I used the GPS. I used both the vent mount and windshield mounts with no issues. Pretty sturdy.

Cons: The windshield mount is a little long but not really a problem.

Other Thoughts: I am going to buy 1 for my wife so she wont lose mine.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: About as "convertible" as you can get. The suction plate is the strongest I have seen on any product. The flex arm, is a tad stiff, but I would complain if it was to malleable and didn't hold its shape. The jaws for the holder are cool, and work very well.

Cons: The vent mount is a little flimsy (spring tension, seems to lack durability). I recommend not torquing or slamming it in-especially when you are mounting/dis-mounting the holding.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid and flexible mount

Pros: The window mount is very sturdy, and the clamp design is great (squeeze the ratcheting sides around the phone to lock in place; push a button on the back to release). The vent mount seems somewhat more fragile, but is very solid when mounted. Vent mount also has a nice ball joint so you can adjust the angle of the cradle.

Cons: When I bought this, I intended to use the window mount. However, because of the long arm, it tends to bob up and down - which can be somewhat distracting, and also annoying if you're trying to look at a map. I only really notice it on surface streets though - on the (relatively smoother) highway it's much better.

Other Thoughts: This is the first car mount I've owned, so I'm guessing that any mount with an adjustable arm will bob a little bit.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes Not Fit HTC Thunderbolt

Pros: Good suction cup that holds firmly to windshield. Long flexible arm is sturdy. This is a big plus and worth 4 eggs.

Cons: Side arms not adjustable and covers the charging plug on the HTC Thunderbolt which is located on the lower left side of the phone. Therefore, the phone can't charge when placed in the holder. The side holding pads are shallow and will not reach around the phone to hold firmly without removing from my Seidio case which would be a royal pain to remove and replace daily. Without my old Bracketron removable head (btw has a lousy suction cup and doesn't stick to the windshield) I would have returned this for a refund.

Other Thoughts: My old Bracketron head fit nicely on the end of the suction cup arm. The Bracketron holder has adjustable side arms that are deep and hug the larger phones nicely even in a rugged and large case.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect!

Pros: LOVE having the phone right out in front, where I can see it. Pops right out of holder, if needed. Mount attaches to windshield with suction cup, phone attaches to mount with side arms, both VERY easily! Really like how phone pops out, using pushbutton on back. Nice, long, "flexible arm" provides plenty of options where to mount on windshield.

Cons: None for me. I don't see the need for the vent mount, but it's there...

Other Thoughts: I'm buying another to have for a passenger...

4 out of 5 eggsGood product

Pros: - Affordable
- Window and vent mounting options
- Easy to assemble and mount
- Easy to lock and remove phone from mount

Cons: - Vent mount started rattling slightly...kind of irritating...I could probably fix it somehow though

Other Thoughts: I haven't even used the window mount, since the vent mount actually works out better for me (my original intention was to use the window mount). It works really well. It's fairly well made, no significant problems with it, except that there is now a slight rattling noise in the vent mount, but I can probably fix that.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes it's job well

Pros: Soft sturdy pads grip the phone nicely without feeling like they are going to break down or unstick any time soon. Has stayed stuck to my windshield since the first application, 6+ months ago.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: As solid as this unit feels, it might as well have come with the phone. There is a spring slide to adjust to the thickness of your iPhone, and a slot in the bottom to use the dock cord. It has never once slipped out, never peeled away from the windshield, never. It just does what it needs to do.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks flawlessly

Pros: Very strong grip to the windshield, boom is easily movable, device mounting mechanism works flawlessly and effortlessly. Removing my phone from the mount is one single, fluid, one-handed motion.

Cons: Device gripping mechanism feels cheap since it's made out of plastic, however I've used it hundreds of times now and it hasn't missed a beat.

Other Thoughts: Other types of smartphone mounts would not work in my Mustang since the dash is not smooth nor are the air vents of a standard design. This one works perfectly since it not only attaches to the windshield, but the boom is long enough that I can place my phone in a location where both drive and passenger can reach it, perfect for road trips.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Mount

Pros: Vent mount is movable into pretty much any direction and will also turn upside down if needed. Moves from car to car easily. Quickly adjustments to any phone size and can mount with one hand. You can use the lower stops or just adjust the phones height in device as needed. Does not scratch or harm phone with soft mounting foam on all surfaces. Holds phone securely, I have hit my phone a few times and it was not ejected from holder. Can be tightened securely for use with touch screens or left loose for adjustment if on sunny days. A single button releases phone from holder while using one hand. Window mount is 11 inches for adjustment to approx. any angle or able to move from lower or higher within the window. You use the same holder for either mount. Glass mount has tightening/release lever to mount to glass. Mounts extremely solid to window and will hold even if pulled very hard. Bendable window mount is ½ inch in diameter and is stiff to move so will hold in any position.

Cons: Vent mount locks the auto vent into a downward angle that is not adjustable after mounting the device in the vent. Not a major issue but about the only thing that I can find. There is a slight trick to getting the vent mount to grab on both sides at the same time but is easily figured out. Window mount may be a bit long for some cars that have short dashboards.

Other Thoughts: I highly suggest this mount. It is legal in non-window mount state or don’t have Bluetooth within your car. This mount also works very well with auxiliary plugs for radios. Overall I am very satisfied with this product and would highly recommend. I have had many people comment on the mount and ask where to get it.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: This is sturdy and flexible. The cradle itself rotates easily from vertical to horizontal. The suction works fantastic. Even on bumpy roads the system as a whole holds up well.

Cons: My phone's micro usb connector is ever so slightly in the way of the clamps, so it sits a little cockeyed when I have it plugged in and have it standing vertical.

This could've been designed slightly better if the bottom "feet" used for vertical stability were adjustable up and down.

Also, the two clamps can get in the way when trying to type while it is vertical.

Neither of these issues is worth an egg.
