5 out of 5 eggsOver a year, and still going strong!

Pros: It does everything it's supposed to do.

Good volume, GREAT battery life, AND you probably wont need to read the owner's manual (setup is pretty intuitive and straightforward).

Cons: Can't think of anything.

Other Thoughts: Mine has lived a pretty rough life.
It stays in the F-150 24/7/365 ... in temperatures from -30F to 110F.
Just keeps going and going, and going...

2 out of 5 eggsIts OK

Pros: Small and compact. Built in clip for visor.

Cons: not quite loud enough, and small speaker results in poor audio quality. Stupid USB power connector (expected to be used in a car right??? Isn't that why they call it the Jabra Drive???) I want power to be hard-wired to the car's fuseblock, but the USB power adapter provided made this difficult and bulky.

Other Thoughts: It auto turns off, after which I need to move a physical switch to off, then back to on to turn back on. This is frustrating, and dangerous if driving. A better design would be to allow the device to have a mode where it is always on, or to allow it to go to sleep but easy to wake. Its usable, but not great. Two stars is accurate.

5 out of 5 eggsSpeakerphone

Pros: Pairs with phone almost instantly, loud, decent quality sound, long battery life, manual on/off switch and volume rocker, easy operation.

Cons: Does not reconnect automatically if you leave it on and it goes to standby.

Other Thoughts: If you have a very loud car, does not matter how loud the speakerphone is, it will still be hard to hear. If you have bad cell service and the voice is distorted on your cell phone, it will be distorted on the speakerphone. Don't complain that the speakerphone has a bad speaker. If you are streaming audio from your phone, it's nice and clean.

5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly decent

Pros: For under 30 bucks this has been money well spent. Callers can tell a difference between being on my phone directly and this, but they only say so after I call attention to it (which is way better than when you hear "Are you on bluetooth? I can't hear anything. Go back to the handset."). Battery life is good and it *seems* to auto-sleep if unpaired long enough, but not always... sometimes I come out and it's totally dead if I forgot to turn it off, other times it still has a good charge.

Cons: There's no battery life indicator, and it's really designed to be used from the sun visor so charging while driving an be annoying (if you also want to use it). Definitely still picks up ambient noise if it's loud enough (can't have the AC/fan on full in my Subaru WRX).

4 out of 5 eggsRecommend, but nothing's perfect . . .

Pros: Slim design, easy set up, nice control, good price compared to substitutes.

Cons: Speaker quality/fidelity somewhat distorted. Not enough to disappoint. Light that indicates unit is charging is hard to see for this 40 yo in day time driving.

Other Thoughts: Buying second one for my wife now.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Useful Product

Pros: This product Works. It is smaller than I thought which makes it less visible from those outside. The speaker is very loud. People did not make any comment about how I sound so that is good. It charges fast and the charger wire is very long. Always pars with my HTC Amaze. It also does what my plantronics ear phone does. Always dials the numbers correctly. What a great and useful product. PS I never review average products, only the best and the worst. This is the best!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I wanted to get rid of my headphone. This does the trick. I was thrilled at how well this worked. This is one of the most useful products that I have bought in a really long time. Also the comments about the on off switch are ridiculous. I have big hands and it works for me.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Great battery life, clear and loud sound.

Cons: Must turn device on and off with switch to reconnect if it's disconnected from the phone for more than 10 minutes. (Annoying, but not really a big problem.)

Other Thoughts: I saw a few not-so-great reviews on other sites after I ordered from Newegg and thought the Jabra Drive was going be a mistake -- but it isn't. It paired instantly with an LG P500. I used the Drive for about two hours streaming internet radio into its 2-inch speaker. Sounds fine, it's loud and I could walk at least 20 feet away without a single dropout or burp. The real test came using it as it should be in the car. I clipped it to the visor, rolled down the windows in my Jetta, turned on the fan full blast and called home to record a message on voice mail. Speaker loudness was great and I left a message. Played it back when I got home and it sounded great! Couldn't hear any wind or fan noise -- it sounded as good as if I were talking right into the handset. So it's a keeper.

5 out of 5 eggsjabra wireless

Pros: Very easy to initiate. Works like a charm. Automatic when you get close to your vehicle with your cellphone it switches over. Great for those long distance trips!

Cons: If you are on the phone walking to car it will switch over before you have gotten in car but not really a problem.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat BT Speaker

Pros: Nice design in general (wide and flat clip, does not leave marks on the sun visor). Great speaker volume. GPS instructions from the phone (Samsung Galaxy S2) are also transmitted to the BT which is very good. Pairing with the phone takes no more than a second, compare to my older BT which took much longer.
Can't beat the price of $29 (coupon and free shipping) so I bought two, one for each car.

Cons: I don't really like the on/off switch. It is a tiny mechanical/slide switch on the side of the device. Could be a bit annoying at times to operate, especially when you wear gloves in the winter.
On the positive side, the on/off switch on my older BT was a large push-and-hold button, so if you are traveling and carry the BT with you in a briefcase or carry on you would need to take the battery out (or put a piece of paper between the battery and the contacts) or it could turn on by itself and you would find yourself with a discharged battery when you reach your destination. It cannot happen with this tiny slide switch.

Other Thoughts: FIVE eggs in spite of the less-than-perfect on/off switch, in part thanks to the usual and amazing overnight delivery (ordered on Wednesday, had the product in hand at 2:30 pm the following day). Thanks again, Newegg!!
