  • newegg Dect 6.0 PLUS for high-quality sound transmission Dect Plus technology takes the superb sound quality and outstanding range of DECT 6.0 phones to a whole new level. By increasing the frequency of error correction up to 80x, the transmission quality is improved and the phone's range is extended. Engineered to work in 1.9GHz frequency, the DECT 6.0 PLUS phones won't conflict with common wireless devices such as 2.4GHz routers, wireless keyboards and mice, microwave ovens and other household items. And because it's digital, you'll enjoy long range and clear sound while deterring eavesdropping.
  • newegg Three-HANDSET SYSTEM The Panasonic KX-TG4023N provides the convenience of using three handsets (expandable to six) via a single landline connection, and allows for four-way call conferencing and intercom between the handsets.
  • newegg CALL WAITING CALLER ID The Panasonic KX-TG4023N displays the second caller's name (if available) and number while you are on a call.
  • newegg Intelligent Eco Mode This clever new feature automatically lowers the power consumption when you're using the handset close to the base unit. Not only does it extend the available talk time up to 13 hours, it's good for the environment. When less power is used by the handset to communicate with the base unit, the battery life is prolonged, which results in less frequent charging and can result in fewer batteries in landfills.
  • newegg ALL-DIGITAL ANSWERING SYSTEM The Panasonic KX-TG4023N is equipped with an all-digital answering system, enabling recording for quick, easy retrieval of crystal-clear messages. As all messages are stored in flash memory, none can be lost upon power failure or interruption.

Pros: Low volume. Poor range. Son cannot hear me when I stand next to receiver/transmitter base. Pitiful excuse for a phone system. Do not waste your money. Disgusted with this. Wasted $70+

Cons: Plastic junk as far as I'm concerned. Not done with this, I will contact manufacturer on this one. What is quality control? Do you have one or two employees even spot checking these cracker jack box phones? 'Hello, I can't hear you'... Panasonic equals, missed the mark totally. Better as recycled plastic. I am an electrician/electronics. I would love to find a schematic & tweak the ranges & volume on this. Why bother with frustration. 3 phones & terrible is best I can say.

Other Thoughts: I don't want to say anything bad about Panasonic, their product is terrible as a technician. Pitiful. I would like to meet the QC man/woman on this. Engineers, grrrrrrr...

4 out of 5 eggsUses standard size batteries!

Pros: Takes my NiMH batteries - woot!
Has built in answering machine.
Can page other handsets

Cons: 1) Biggest con for me was that the digits do not light up.

2) Only one handset can access the address book at a time.

3) does NOT take alkaline. Must use rechargeables (1.2V). I always have fully charged batteries around so not a big deal for me.

4) Doesn't have a jack to plug in external headset (I knew this when purchasing though)

5) The charge indicator on the phone not very accurate. I plugged in fresh 2800mah batteries and it showed up as ~20% charged :X

Other Thoughts: Purchased for $50 with biggest selling point being I could use my existing batteries (which is why I only took off 1 egg for all those cons)

The volume on the speakerphone is kind of weak... just not so weak as to become a con though.

I wish I could sync my address book and headsets to this unit via Bluetooth but those features would put this phone into a whole different price category.

4 out of 5 eggsThree for the price of one

Pros: What really got my attention was the price, three phones for the price of one.

Cons: The only problem I have with the phones is the earpiece volume is very low.

1 out of 5 eggsBe Warned

Pros: Price, size, looks, comes with Ni-MH batteries

Cons: - Not covered by Panasonic Warranty in Canada according to Panasonic.
My Phone broke after 11 months. They say this model is being sold only in US and if you check the manual that comes with unit, it confirms that. Warranty applies only to US and Puerto Rico.
- our phone had problem with sound quality from day 1. Apparently many Panasonic DECT 6 phones do (according to the web) !!! Panasonic was not handling the warranty issue well from the beginning (poor service - lots of contradicting info). In the end I got cold email from "Sonia" saying "your model is not covered in Canada"- (previous responses were ok with warranty in Canada - I even got authorization for returning the product, LOL. Big, messy company.

Other Thoughts: I would not buy Panasonic DECT 6 phones, period, especially this model since it is not covered by warranty in Canada.

2 out of 5 eggsbase works good

Pros: good answering system, good caller ID

Cons: the receivers not on the base but on chargers located in other parts of the house fail to work even though it is fully charged and registered to the base resulting in dropped calls. looking at reviews on vendor website shows indicates this is not an isolated occurance.

5 out of 5 eggsPanasonic KX-TG4023N 1.9 GHz Digital DECT 6.0 3X ...

Pros: The sound quality & signal are excellent & the features the phone offers are great for what we need. The price was cheaper than some other sites I looked at that offered a reconditioned system for the same or more.

Cons: none thet I have, but to be honest I have not used the answering system that comes with it since my service provider offers that service at no additional charge.

Other Thoughts: Would recomend this to anyone

5 out of 5 eggsBeat The Storm

Pros: Fast, fast, fast...nice combination, standard Ni-MH AAAs, feature heavy AND it beat the storm. Did I mention standard Ni-MH AAAs?

Cons: Packing could be better - all the buffering excelsior was on one side and underneath. As usual UPS crushed the shipping box a bit - and the contents were right under that spot with no real protection. I hope there are no issues as I am quite pleassed otherwise. NewEgg might want to consider making a slight change in this method or coach the individual who is probably new to his job.
